I am writing to report a problem with Facebook and Instagram login access on behalf of my wife.

Last week, she lost access to both her Facebook and Instagram accounts. We have reported the issue several times and tried multiple login attempts, but we have been unsuccessful in recovering access.
A few days before this happened, her Instagram account was temporarily blocked due to a video of our child dancing on a random reel. The system flagged it as potentially violating community policies. However, we submitted a review request and received the following message from Instagram on 21 February confirming that the account activity did not violate the Community Standards:
“Hi meenakshipilkhwal, Thanks for taking the time to request a review. We've reviewed your account and found that the activity on it does follow our Community Standards on child sexual exploitation, abuse and nudity, so you can use Instagram again. We're sorry that we've got this wrong and that you weren't able to use Instagram for a while. Sometimes we need to take action to help keep our community safe.”
Despite this confirmation, last week her Facebook account was suddenly disabled, and as a result she also lost access to her Instagram account linked with it. These accounts contain many important family photos and videos, and we would be extremely grateful if you could help review the situation and restore access. Was this information helpful? |
