Flower Aura — Flowers not delivered, and refund refused

I placed an order for flowers (order no.5325923) to be delivered in Goa on 17 May. The order was delayed due to the cyclone.

The delivery was attempted 2 days later on 19 May. However, the flowers were never delievered because Flowerauara said "the concerned party to whom the flowers were to be delvered did not answer the phone".

This is no excuse because FlowerAura emailed me in real time about the phone number being unreachable. I emailed right back saying phone lines are down but the concerned party is at home. I provided them with an email confirmation. Floweraura respond saying they would inform their delivery team.

But, a day later they said they didn't deliver the flowers. I now am being refused a refund or a redelivery saying it's their policy "if someone won't answer their phone, they won't deliver."

This despite my email (in real time) confirming that the concerned party was indeed at home.

Terrible service by FlowerAura that goes by a self-imposed rule book rather than take a wholistic approach to the situation to ensure the job gets done.
