FRRO — Exit permit application

I came here on 26 Dec 2019 on tourist visa and due to covid and my wife gave birth I cannot travel back before my visa expire.in 2020 I called frro and the person answered told me to note down number and show it to officer when at the office... 0n 28 th August I went to frro office and told them everything(helpdesk).he only told new apply through online. After thaat I came back to Madurai and applied for exit permit on 2nd set. 3rd sep got reply to upload a visa page. 4th September upload old passport and on 7 sep my application showed under process... I attend a so officer verification on 12th set... My application is still in under process but my Malaysian passport already expired on 23 set 2022.why takes to much time frro to process...i really in bad situation financially ..on 27th sep I called frro they inforrmed me to go and renew my Malaysian passport in Chennai.. After that I needed to send new application.
