From june i applied for extension as I'm still working at TCS.
My application ( id:180620DA7OOB)was under process and pending till December when Frro asked for physical meeting.
I attended the meeting and brought requested documents. After this that asked to submit the ITR form (income tax) otherwise my application will be cancelled. br...

▪ i have attempted to apply for a visa extension through the efrro website without success. While i was successful in registering with on the efrro site, the site does not allow me to select a visa type or sub-type.

▪ i have contacted the frro in bangaluru a number of times and - despite explanations - have repeatedly been referred to the e-frro website.

Im indian and my wife is russian.. And i submit and fulfil form of my wife in frro to extend her visa... And after a week they call to come there office at ahmedabad.. When i visit with my wife with all original documents... They first make us wait few hours.. Then they start to ask much personal question.. And then they keep sending us one room to other room to other guys and they keep asking same but very uncomfortable personal questions..in which some of there questions are very weird and they laugh.. Looks like they make joke on us.. Or there is a this system is joke.. It s total uncomfortable and harrasment.. And then keep us waiting outside many hours.. And finally they say no.. After i ask the reason behind no... They not give answer and said.. Go on delhi ministry in frro.. Or complain abt us.. But here is no.. U can go.. And knock ministry door i[censored] want.. When i ask cant go with out reason of denied.. There officer name rajkumar and admin ab. Purabia said... We dont find this intresting and havent mood... Intresting thing is all documents and proof and legal process and papers i submit and shows.. They denied because they havent mood and dont find intresting... Make me believe this is zoo.. And foriegners are kind o[censored]nique beauty kind of species to them so they keep sending them to each other to time pass and laugh.. And they not do what government hire them to do... And make system so so worst...

There is a new rule is intoduced in july 2018 about which honorable home minister rajnath singh shared on his twitter account for visa conversion. According to this rule if marriage solomonize out side india, spouse of indian origin person can change her tourist visa to x2 visa without leaving country. But in delhi frro officer still forcing foreign woman to go through long and harrasing procedures for obtaining x2 visa. If this is the condition with frro located in capital and this invention of efrro portal gives them complete freedom to manipulate and play up with visas procedures of innocent people. After i can imagine situation in small towns. At frro in delhi they don't consider any foreign documents. I think government should direct their own officer s before making any annoucement. It's pathetic and a mental torture for couple going through this hardship instead of enjoying focusing on happy marriage life and family

I have been harassed by the frro mumbai office staff. I applied for a evisa to stay in mumbai as i acquired portuguese nationality just in utah. Application was made online based on the frro website information and it’s been 28 days that i have still not received the evisa. The frro team says they communicate through the website but in reality their website is horrible. The information is not accurate and no one can even call their number...

I am dr geet oberoi from delhi and i write to share my husband's horrifying experience with air india at singapore airport today morning (8th sept 2018). My husband randy k bradbury who is a us national with a valid 10 year tourist visa (Multiple entry) was not allowed to board the flight from singapore this morning (8th sept 2018; ai 381). The reason stated was that the valid visa was in his old passport which had expired. Both the expired and the current passports were together with all other paperwork in place. What air india did is most irregular.in all online forums and at at the frro, new delhi, it is stated that a person may travel with a valid indian visa on an expired passport.
Now my husband is there on the weekend with no clarity on the state of affairs. He is stuck there for at least 3 days as he has been asked to apply for an e-visa.
I demand clarity on this issue. If in case air india has changed its policies then why are all online portal saying otherwise? Why did frro give incorrect information? Can an airline over rule the laws / policies of frro?
Who is responsible for the forced extended stay in singapore and not to mention the huge added expenditure?
I would request this issue to be resolved asap with a return flight with ticket and the compensation of the extra days there covering all expenses.

In the past I applied for OCI registration at frro Mumbai and that time officer in charge called me with my original documents many times, every time I go with the document officer incharge ask for another document, four times they told me to change my draft first three times they send me objection letter I went with the item they have requested in the letter but they don’t even want to see what they have asked me to bring. last time they...

This is to inform that some of brokers and officer are doing illigal activity in dist frro office. Afgan people are staying here without visa and making indian docs even they have a passport of indian. And now the problem is that at the time of returning hm they r giving huge amt to the broker and broker gving the amt to officer. Look into this matter as early as possible.
Some of them staying outside kolkata they taking the paper...

I want to register a complain against a tenant who is living in bhagwan das park burari... His visa is already expired and seems he is involved in illegal activities. He has not paid his rent from the past 8-9 months and also not vacating home. He is disturbing his landlords those who are very honest and genuine people. He comes home late night and threaten their landlord to get himself kill if they will take any action against him. Looking towards these poor and helpless people i have decided to lodge a complain against him. Pls take some action against him asap. I am adding his photograph as well.

I've been in the frro office two times, and i'm okay with it, but having to be here because the guy who took my documents wants more documents, it's just stupid. I live in chennai, which is very far from here and i asked for a day off in my office to come here, and now it is totally worthless because of the terrible service, attitude of the person who reviews the document. The process is to slow and stupid, to far for the people who lives...

I have applied for oci on 4-may-17 and on 29-sep-2017 i still have not received it. My online registration number is indm01091n17. I need to leave with my husband to another country permanently and hence i need it soonest. I was told to receive oci in 3 months and it is already 5 months. I am not getting any response from mumbai frro.

I havw been waiting 8 months to get my visa renewed. I live in mumbai with my husband who is indian and 1 n half year old baby. My visa expiry ws in january & we applied for renewal. We handed over our documents to a lady called swapnalee sitting at counter no. 10 and she told us that the malad police station will come to our home for police clearance & once they send their report to frro office, it will take a week to issue the visa. We waited for 3 months but no cop came for any verification. We kept calling frro & they only said "we. Cant do anything without police clearance. You have to wait". Not seeing the point of waiting, we went to the police station malad to inquire what the delay was. A cop there told us to come the following day. We went the next day and they told us to come the next day with a list of documents. When we went there for the 3rd time, the cop took an extremely long time to find the letter sent to them by the frro office regarding my police clearance. The cop literally searched his entire bench which was filled with piles of papers and files and also the bench next to his and finally he found the letter in a corner of his office. We submitted all the documents they asked for and the cop said they will be making a house visit and maximum 10 days after that, my visa will be renewed. We waited for around 20 days and called the frro office to inquire what we need to do since no cop came for a house visit. They told us we have no option but to wait till the cop comes & then sends them the clearance report. This was in april. Frustrated by the delay, we went back to the police station to see what the hold up was and we were informed that they have already sent the clearance letter to the frro office mumbai. We called the frro office to check & they said they have not received it and told us to go back to the police station and get a copy of the letter they sent & come to them. So we did exactly that. We went back to the police station and requested for a copy of the letter which we got after a couple of hours of waiting. We contacted the same lady (Swapnalee) & informed her that we have got the copy & gave her all the details she asked for regarding the letter & its contents. Days passed, weeks passed and there was no progress. We kept calling the frro office but got no positive reply. Many times i was just put on hold and i could hear them talking amongst themselves etc and then they would just disconnect my call after like 30mins-45mins. Then finally after a few months, we managed to speak to swapnalee again & she told me that they still havent received the letter from malad police station so for me ti bring the letter we got and come to frro office. She insisted i need to be there personally. My baby was sick so i couldnt go for the next 3-4 days so i called swapnalee and asked her if i can send it through someone or desperately asked if temporarily a whatsapp picture will work. She agreed and gave me her mobile number. When i sent her an image of the letter, she told me there is a signature missing on the letter and i needed to go back to the police station and get a new letter with signature. At this point i got really frustrated & told her that it wasnt my job to do this.. Its hers. I have an infant who was sick and she was asking me to do her work so i told her that she needed to contact the malad police station & get the letter. She said ok. This was in the start of july. I have been continously calling and sending msgs to swapnalee for an update with no positive response. Today i sent her another msg to which she responded telling me to go to the malad police station if i had time and meet some cop there and get the letter to which my response was "im sorry but you need to do it & finish this work soon.. Its been 8 months"

I find it ridiculous how incompetent at their jobs these people are. 8 months & counting.. I am still not sure where i stand with my visa renewal. 99% of their work was done by us running around with an infant and still nothing is done. And she actually had the audacity to tell me to go back to the malad police station and see if i can get another copy of the letter. If we are to do everything ourselves, why are they sitting in the frro office? 8 months and counting is ridiculous.in december i was informed it will take 15 days to process & now its 8 months later and i am still trying to get my work done. What if i have an emergency and need to travel. Or i get sick and need to go to a hospital. Millions of possibilities where i need a valid visa here and these people are playing around like its childs play. Really ridiculous and i would really like to make this an official complaint but i dont know where i can do so.

This is to inform you about a group of foreigners who doing business and illegal activities in Anjuna beach Goa. I stayed in their hostel and surprised that one foreigner can do business without a proper documents.
Their hostel called GOAMAZING HOSTEL. which run by Mr. Julio, Diana, and bunches of other foreigners. You can smell easily drugs around there and they welcome the guest also with rolled gancha or hash.

I want to report a complain against an Irani woman living in Mumbai India, She has got an Indian passport by submitting false Date of birth and all other documents. She is regularly in touch with people from Iran and is involved in illegal activities. Her Irani name is different than the Indian name hence no way to prove that she exist in Iran. I know of the person who has been helping her with other officials to get the passports.
Her address in the present passport is also false .I have been trying for past one year but have failed. Every department is asking us to get the proof. Its very important as she is blackmailing elderly Indian citizen for money. as she has made other Indian documents its becoming impossible to file any complaint against her. Please help.

My child's application was made at Mumbai FRRO for the conversion of PIO to OCI card where it was acknowledged in beginning of March-2016.

The acknowledge receipt states that it could take as long as 75 days to issue OCI card. It has been now more than FOUR MONTHS and I have checked the online status today where it still showed 'UNDER-PROCESS'.

These people are very badly behaving against the forieghners. I donot know if this is the same attitude with every body in this country. they are asking when a couple arrive at india...whter they live together, married or not...what is their problem..its none of their matter.foreingers arrive at this country lives in one room or not is completely up to the visitor. this is one of the worst countries in this world. realy badd people. its shame the way these corrupted people behaves. Hi I am going to tell about some of the miss behaviour of FRRO officers and extra formalities. .first some of them do not behave well to afghan nationals ..talking with harsh words etc...Other problem is why they need much documents which is very difficult for afghan national to complete .One year before it was awesome and now it's just nonsense

Greetings, I'm Egyptian national and working as a Regional Human Resources with Tata Consultancy Services, Bangalore.

One year back I applied for Business Visa with AIESEC to join an Internship with AIESEC & TCS. Kindly the Indian Embassy in Cairo offered me the required visa and removed two statements (Each stay doesn't exceed 190 days and non extendable) so I can register to FRRO and extend my visa when it is required. FRRO registered me that time and everything was fine.

TCS and AIESEC offered me extension for 6 months starting from March 2015.

Yesterday I went to FRRO Bangalore to extend my visa and after 6 hours the counter officer informed me that my request isn't approved. The I asked the counter officer (Counter A) for the reason why It is rejected he replied ''The senior officer didn't approve it and Don't ask why''.

I went to the senior officer with Copy of my visa and a letter from the Indian Embassy In Egypt and I explained to him that this statement is removed but he answered ''We don't offer a visa extension you have to issue a new visa from your country''

I replied ''But Sir just 1 month back a colleague of mine from Ivory coast has the same visa got an extension from the same office''. The officer to replied ''No It never happened'' I didn't argue as I'm sure 100% that my information is correct as am Regional HR in the same company and am the one who issued all the documents to the intern and the intern is working with us till now.

Kindly be informed that regardless the aggressive way of speech, I've been asked about my Nationality and my Religion which was really strange and sad.

I went to collect OCI card for my son and daughter to Mumbai FRRO office where I have been asked to give go to toilet and give bribe. He said he will give me OCI once I give 500 each = 1000 INR for two OCI.

There were three men one who was doing manually registration in the book and pasted U sticker on passport. The other one was finding OCI from the drawer. Both looked to each other and using body...
