Modfurn Furniture — Sub Standard Product | |||||
Dear sir, This is to bring to your kind notice that for my wedding, my in-laws placed household furnitures (bed, wardrobe, dresser...etc etc.) worth Rs.1,10,000/- (approx) date of purchase being 24/04/13 from “Modern Furnitures (a company of Jalan and sons, 32 Ezra street, Kolkata 700001.)", they delivered me sub standard products, the pastings are falling off, the laminates are getting peeled off, the drawers are not shutting due to weak ply provided, the channels are not supporting free movement, hinges are noisy, there are gaps in between the doors and inside things can be easily visible from outside even when the doors are closed, when i complained about the same i was assured things will be taken care off, but to my utter dismay none of the assurance and promises were fulfilled, time and again i pleaded but to no response,lots of promises were made for extra services, but now i see that for any matter they are sending me bills for work which they had promised, they failed to turn up each time they fixed the timings and asked for another appointment which again they conveniently failed. After lots of persuasion we decided to tell them to take back the materials supplied and return us back the money, my wife even went to their retail outlet to bring some sences in them, she was compelled to warn them o[censored]s approaching the consumer court, to which they misbehaved and told her to do whatever she can, this is absolutely a case of cheating a customer and the intentions were of taking the money and supplying sub standard materials, as such now i have no other option but to humbly request you to kindly provide me justice and help me in my cause of total misleading and customer dissatisfaction, i truely hope they will be brought to justice and i will be ever greatful to you and have deep respect for your intervention and action.
