Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam — Unauthorized Dairies, stray dogs and Depletion of groundwater.

Dear Sir, I am resident of Ganeshpuri, Near Shalimar Garden Shiv Chowk. This comes under ward no. 69. We are facing number of problems. Following are the problem which are creating nuisance. 1. Unauthorized Dairies: There are nos. of resident who are keeping buffaloes but do not abide by even minimum standard of keeping them and dispose animal execrate directly into open naalies which not only block drainage system but also emit dangerous gases which are difficult to inhale and creating pathetic atmosphere to live in. These gases may lead to serious illness to the resident living near by. 2. Depletion of Ground water: There are nos. of submersible pump, every other house is having there own submersible pump. They waste water unnecessary for draining the animal excrete into the naala. and waste lot of water. 3. Stray dogs: There are nos. of stray dogs in our colony and their population is Increasing exponentially every year. they create lot of waste and keep barking in the night which cause sleepless night to resident. They have bitten children also. There is fear spreading dangerous disease to the children playing outside. 4. Blockage of drainage system: There is no proper place to keep the dustbin. people throw there garbage in the open nala which have been blocked. We have made several visit on the above issue to the councillor of the ward but no action has been taken yet. Therefore my request in behalf of the resident is to look seriously into the matter as the above problem may multiply and damage the nature and the environment. Kindly take necessary action to resolve the problems. We shall be highly obliged by your early action in this regard. Thanking You, Rajeev Singh
