GM MOTORS — Inherent defect in AC system and accident made by Shaiva motors

THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING CHEVROLET CRUZE. INHERENT DEFECT IN CAR AND PATHETIC AFTER SALE SERVICE. I am constrained to share my experience:- Bitter lifetime experience Pathetic service received from Shiva Motors Service Station Noida and General Motors has been a mute spectator. A writer pens a story after thinking thrice and scribbling twice, but this is my spontaneous frustrated expression for the extraordinary pathetic after purchase service received from the Shiva Motors (General Motors). Being an auto enthusiast, I always had a tremendous respect for the legendary GM Motors. However I never thought that buying a luxury sedan class (Chevrolet Cruz) UP 16 AM 4004 will give me night mares and people at Shiva Motors (Authorized Dealer and Service Station) will make my life miserable. This is my story about how much can you go wrong while making a decision? See how the Shiva Motors ensured the above mentioned. Following is my after purchase experience, followed by tremendous mental agony and huge frustration. From the very beginning since I purchased the Chevrolet Cruz car, I faced the persistent problem regarding AC of my car. On every occasion I lodged complaint with regard to aforesaid defect with the Shiva Motors, it was informed that the same has been rectified. I informed them that the defect is inherent one and the same cannot be rectified. They, throughout made temporary arrangements and failed to rectify the same. The complete service record of my aforementioned car can be checked from time to time. In the first week of April I again faced the same problem when the AC of my car completely stopped working. I lodged a complaint regarding the same with Shiva Motors (Mr. Vinod). They noted my complaint picked up my car from my house. Thereafter my car was kept therein the Service Station for more than seven days. On 15th April I was informed by them that the defect of the AC has been rectified. I was having the apprehension that this time also the defect in the AC of my car has not been rectified and only temporary arrangement has been made once again by Shiva Motors. I once again humbly requested them through mails and also through phone conversation to kindly consider the defect in AC as inherent one and the whole unit of AC is required to be replaced. Since the warranty of my car is on the verge of lapsing period, the representatives of the Shiva Motors are only trying to rectify the defect temporarily so as to prevent me from availing the warranty as applicable on my car. I also informed them to charge/replace the complete units of the AC of my car immediately. As in case the problem comes up again, I will not pay any extra amount for the services related to the AC of my car. I also lodged a complaint regarding my aforesaid grievances with customer care of General Motors. However, no response was received till date. On further queries from the representatives of Shiva Motors (Mr. Vinod & Mr. Vijay Ram), they informed that all documents along with history related to the service of the car has already been sent to GM Motors. I further requested them to provide the said records to me as well and also requested them to provide me the contact details of the Managing Director and other senior officials of GM Motors so that I could convey my grievances to them also. No response was received to the mails sent to Shiva Motors regarding aforementioned to which I again mailed them on 16th April, 2014 to provide me the contact details of Managing Director & Senior Officials of GM Motors. On 18th April, 2014 came the astonishing and bombshell news from the representative of Shiva Motors, Mr. Vinod Kumar from his mobile number. +91 [protected]. He informed me that the driver who has taken out my car met with an accident due to his rash and negligent driving. He further informed that the car has been completely damaged. This is highly gross negligent on the part of Shiva motors. The most amusing part was that they asked me to give them my insurance documents of my car so as to. They further communicated that they will bear the depreciation amount of the claim. Despite these adverse incidents against me and that too because of no fault of mine, I didn’t lost my nerve and cool and persistently been in contact with the representatives of Shiva Motors. I being a diligent citizen asked them the queries related to the accident of my car which were in conformity with due course of law and procedures. I completely refused to give my insurance papers asked them reply to my queries raised to them first. They (Shiva Motors, GM Motors) never replied to my queries. My Queries are enumerated herein for your ready reference: 1. Who was driving the car when it met with an accident? 2. At which place and How did my car met with an Accident? 3. Whether any FIR was lodged or not? If yes why FIR copy was not supplied to me? 4. Did you take the photograph of my car? If yes, you have not sent the photograph of my car after the Accident? 5. Did you made any assessment of my car after the accident about the damage or loss from concerned authority? If, Yes you have not sent any assessment with regard to the loss/damage caused to my car? 6. What have you all done for more than 15 days with regard to defect in AC of my car? What is the present condition of AC? Whether it has been rectified or not? 7. You have been silent and no response from your side with regard to providing taxi as agreed? Till date my car is with them. They made every attempt to conceal material facts related to the accident of my car. They were never fair in their approach as a professional who provides services to the customers. Their acts have been fraudulent and of cheating since my car met with an accident. They were throughout silent on my queries related to the accident of my car. Being a consumer/professional company was is not incumbent upon them to provide me with answers and information related to the accident of my car? Is this the way they provide best services which they boast periodically by suppressing material facts and information which you are answerable to as a service provider? Is this the services a customer wants from a service provider? On 14th April I was informed by them that my car is ready and has been repaired. Till date they have not explained what was the damage and whether AC has been replaced or not. No Report of damage of the car was furnished to me. No photograph of the damaged car was taken. They don’t even allowed me to inspect the car. No reply to my mails. NO RESPONSE FROM GM MOTORS AT ALL.Can I be forced to take the delivery of my car which has been completely damaged in an accident without any fault of mine? I am not even aware what they have done to my car.What about the difficulty I faced? What about the unforeseeable events that may have happened at the time of Accident of my car? Who will be responsible for it since the FIR is not lodged about the accident of my car? I told him very clearly that I m not going to accept the damaged car that too in major accident without any fault of mine. Request you to replace my damaged car with new one or I am going to take civil or criminal action against you and also approach social media regarding your conduct.Its almost 45 days I am without car and no redressal from of my grievances. BAD SERVICE

My cars allignment is out from the day i bought it. But after fixing the problem still persists.
