I used GM switches when I made our home. Good looking and nice. The 10Amp switch, usually works longer, but the 15 Amp switch goes bad with time and has to be replaced. I have already replaced many 15amp switches used for Microwave oven and other heavy usage appliances. Being an engineer, I opened the switch which is very easy, and found easily breakable parts inside. The switching tab, is very feeble for a 15amp load and burns easily with heavy loads. I saw some switches with metal switcher, but the new switch I replaced is agin a light plastic material. The GM company shall look into this matter. I will never suggest anyone to use GM again.
