Gmail — email being hacked

Hello,

In the last few days some e-mails have been sent from my account which were not written by me. I would like to register a complaint and i need to know what steps should i take to prevent any more mails being sent from my account.

Note: i have control over the account but i believe it's simultaneously being used by someone else too.

Urgent help needed.

My phone went to service station so everything got formated I forgot my password N unable to use my gmail account my id is [protected]@gmail.com
