Godaddy India — Account Recovery - Domain Renewal

I have been a Godaddy customer for 8 years. I wanted to renew my account, only to find out that my account has been locked. I have been endlessly chatting with the customer support who keep assuring me that the issue will be resolved in 48 hours. It has been 3 weeks and it seems their 48 hours is still going on.

I was told that my account has 2 step verification enabled because of which it will take time. I received an email today from account recovery that there is no 2 step verification enabled. It seems no one knows why account has been locked.
