Godaddy cheats customers by charging more for renewals of products and services. I am waiting for 2 hours and still waiting for the complaint to handled by their team. They are simply the worst customer service team I have ever dealt with.

Godaddy is a fraudulent and extremely manipulative service provider. They charge more on renewal of domains and hosting than other service providers. What's more, you have to pay way more for same domain based on your loyalty. Even for hosting, they charge more money even after 3 months. They simply cheat customers and have extremely BAD SERVICE AGENTS. Cheat Customers is Godaddy's motto.

I have been with Godaddy Customer for almost 10 years.
On[protected], I have upgraded my hosting plan with them and after that my website is not working, Due to this my clients rejects my work orders and I got around 5lakhs loss. The executive are not ready to communicate and they are keeping me hold for 1-2 hrs. on Phone and I have to cut the call as they are not responding.
Sometimes they says it's our problem and some times they say it's Automatic.

Please I am exhausted and they are not even answering properly and a person is there Mr. Sai Kiran, he just behaves rude

Please consider my problem and do justice for me

Hi there,

This is to inform you that I purchased a server from GoDaddy with a Backup plan.
It was showing on my panel all the backups it took regularly. On 7 Dec 2022 it suddenly stopped and I was not able to access it. Then I chat and make a call to GoDaddy support and they ask me to use the recovery console window to access my server. When I opened it, it showed me the Troubleshoot window. By doing that I was able to open the command prompt and tried to access my data but it was all blank. Then we tried to restore our server from the backup of GoDaddy but it was not working at all. We requested a lot to get our data from GoDaddy but they are saying the data is lost and you can create a new server now.

How easy for them to say the data is lost, my clients are asking me for their data and I am completely helpless to share with them. Now I have to pay a heavy cost for this big loss and my company image is at stake.

Hosting account expired

Not willing to transfer my 12 year old data

asking 9000 rs to transfer files like ransom money

I have been a Godaddy customer for 8 years. I wanted to renew my account, only to find out that my account has been locked. I have been endlessly chatting with the customer support who keep assuring me that the issue will be resolved in 48 hours. It has been 3 weeks and it seems their 48 hours is still going on.

I was told that my account has 2 step verification enabled because of which it will take time. I received an email today from account recovery that there is no 2 step verification enabled. It seems no one knows why account has been locked.

As soon as we opened the product..and charged as per guidelines but drone is not working.

I wanted to upgrade my Hosting From "Launch" Package to "Enhance" Package. So I chat with their Agent named "Gupta". After discussion over the production informations I particularly asked that the IP will change or not if I upgrade. He/She said IP will remain same and only RAM, Space and CPU will increase. Because I am running multiple websites in the server I do not want my IP to change. That is why I asked multiple times before purchasing. After confirmation only I made the purchase.

Later when I contacted again GoDaddy, they said your IP has changed. Now my websites will stop working. I am running University Admission Portal here and do not want any interruptions.

They made me purchase the upgraded plan by saying wrong information which leads me suffer some unbearable loss.

GoDaddy has been under breach and has removed all of our domain names from our account without even notifying us. The password was changed and we are trying to reach the team and we're not getting any sort of help to recover the domains. We are a privately held technology company in India and all our business is at complete halt because of the same. We're not at all getting any help from any sources of GoDaddy. Please help us in this.

I made successful payment for my domain renewal at 06:08PM 18 JUN 2022.
but order is still showing me pending....

My GoDaddy Account[protected] has been suspended and your team at [protected]@godaddy.com isn't responding to my emails or calls.

I got an e-mail from GoDaddy on 14th June, 2022 stating that one of my domains - thetvsemeraldjardin.co.in is suspended. Upon checking this email the next day - none of my websites with domains purchased from GoDaddy are working and even my GoDaddy Dashboard access is locked. Prior to this happening - I didn't receive any warning/notice mail.

After this I had contacted your phone support yesterday - they said that it's due an issue with the domain thetvsemeraldjardin.co.in and asked to get an email from TVS Emerald stating that we are authorised and permitted to use it.
If the issue is with that domain GoDaddy shouldn't have sold that domain to me. 2nd - it could have suspended that domain only and not the whole account.

Now, I have spoken to the relevant authorities at TVS Emerald and they drafted a mail to [protected]@godaddy.com stating that we are authorized to market their projects and there's no issue in that.

And now I've been trying to contact them by mail and even phone support but i'm not getting any reply.

All my websites are down for no proper reason.

Can you please take action in this regard and get my account reinstated.

To whom so ever It may concern to, I am writing with frustration and disappointment. Suddenly my account was locked and all my domains and hosting is not working, we are running adwords for this domains, from last 12 hours spent almost 60k for this domains adwords, and if customers clicks my website is not found, For you peoples its so careless right, cant to people inform on prior, how can you can lock my account, who is responsible for the amount which as spent and not able to receive any emails as domain is not working, never ever expected this type of hopeless services from Godady . Support on call, his name is mahesh today around 22:00-23:00 time, he is rude, overtalking, not giving respect, value, threating and trying to prove that im using bad words when im explaining him how to behave with the customer, my concern is he will spoil my website, or spoil my products or spoil my files or data, i have threat for this guy, i need strong action to be taken from the department, we come for help and service because we are paying, we dont come to take this insult and rude and attacking behavior, should respect customer, im godaddy customer more than 6 years, this is how they treat me?

There is a bug in goDaddy's ecommerce platform. We are using their website & marketing which is an Ecommerce platform for our business sugarfreebox.in we have been promised for an outstanding services but false didnt hold for longer time! We are not able to launch our website and making loss everyday!

A basic feature of ecommerce site is not working there; if you as a user buy a product on our website and come later to see the product history then you will see 'No order history' even if you were logged in.

I had called hundreds of time and escalated this but their technical team is dumb and is not able to understand the issue and of no help at all! its been more than 3 weeks issue is hanging around here and there but they are shameless and useless people.

Now we have decided to move to shopify but want to raise complaint so at least other people who are planning to go with go Daddy should be aware of their mischief behavior.

We want to sue them for our losses, is there anyway to do that?

Firstly when you search for a domain they show either they are taken or they are selling it as premium domain at very high price and if you search for a available domain 2-3 time they will park it and you wouldn't be available to purchase it. Because of this alot of new businesses suffer.

We all should stop using GoDaddy and should make a complaint about them.

No customer Support, costly than all other companies, no refund, no solutions, customer support lying to sell there products, after that no service, dont trust on godaddy advertisements, compare with other companies first

Dear sir, we have been using godaddy hosting service for www.pearinnovation.com, recently we were told that our hosting had malware issue by their customer care service and were asked to buy Website Security plan so on 8 april we purchased Website Security - Premium - 1 quarter(s) but even after that we are facing problem like our websites gets blocked and today on 20 april our entire database has been deleted and when we try to reach out...

I have hosted my website hmibathfittings.com with Godaddy 16th march 2022 my webmail was not working so i called[protected] and the first call was picked by some Johi se informed that she have fix the problem and i have to wait for next 24-48 hours, i waited and got my problem is not fixed yet I again called to Godaddy this time i talked to mr. khaja T on chat he took about 1 hours and 30 minutes and again asked to wait for 24-48 hours again i got my problrm was not fixed and call again on the number given above talked with ms. Nikita she took about 30 minutes and call get disconnected
when she again called and again disconnected my problem is still same and no one is solving this from

My Domain Expired on 20th of december 2021. i wanted to have it back so i called go daddy help line number
on 19th feb 2022 i had a long conversation with one of its executive Dhara, & after final negotiation go daddy agreed to give my domain with a condition to renew it for minimum 3 years.
