My father has purchased the Modular Kitchen from "Godrej Interio", a furniture industry giant from the house of the Godrej Group(Godrej and Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd.), which offer a 15 years warranty on the product, as well as a maintenance service. There dealer m/s "Akriti Interiors " took Advance from us & without doing due diligence he sits on customer money for 6 months & then issue letterhead in the name of Invoice. We have raised at the time of installation as well that defective products were being installed to which they somehow justified & installed few & took the remaining for replacement. Akriti Interiors Owner Faisal Hashmi mailed us the prices in January when we made the payment so please help me understand why the installation was completed in July & what took them 6 months to complete the work? After that they never come back despite of several complaints. He is absolutely unprofessional as he doesn’t responds to calls. When we complaint about this to "Godrej Interio". They responded that "it is not an invoice only a letter head". I don't understand that Instead of checking with their Dealer - Akriti Interiors as why he provided only these documents. How was Akriti Interiors maintaining the books by selling the goods without maintaining proper invoice copy? Now they are telling that it will take another 45 days to fix that. Now when we are complaining since last 2 years from the time of installation he is not getting the defective product fixed.
I request your support to get this issue resolved now, not only for my self but to teach the false dealer and companies which are cheating people and do not care for the money paid to them by consumers. I feel cheated by Godrej as well because of Godrej brand name I have opted for Modular rather than Carpenter-made Kitchens & this kind of service is total disappointment. I have already paid a amount of Rs. 2, 08, 000 for my kitchen to always in a good condition.
