[Resolved]  Godrej Interio — Non delivery, delayed delivery, and still no solution

Dear Madam / Sir, I am thoroughly disgusted by service standards of Godrej. I have been a Godrej customer for long (adminttedly not in Kolkata) but after my experience here in Kolkata at the Salt Lake showroom I am having second thoughts on buying godrej products. In case you are unable to sort out my issues please remove the material already delivered and refund me the money. Here is the chronology. 14th June 2014 – Order given for Adriana with Storage, Book Shelf and Kreation for INR 81, 650 – advance paid INR 24, 650. As per showroom Adriana with storage will be delivered in two days and rest by last week of June. 15th June 2014 – Adriana delivered; storage missing 16th June 2014 – Adriana installed 24th June – Call from Godrej that all material has arrived and I need to pay full amount. 24th June 2014 – Full payment made of balance INR 57, 000. Showroom promised delivery on 27th and installation on 28th. 27th June 2014 – Material did not arrive and thus a reminder call to showroom. It seems showroom forgot to make the job card and thus no one turned up. 28th June – Adriana storage, Kreation are delivered. Book shelf missing. Call to showroom for bookshelf – they said they will check and revert and promised installation for 30th June. No reply on bookshelf received. 30th June – No one turned up for installation. Reminder again – promised installation on 1st July 1st July – No one turned up. Promised installation on 2nd July 2nd July – Installation chap turns up. He installed Adriana storage. Apparently the box did not have handles for Adriana storage. He also discovered that Kreation has only been delivered in part and not fully. 2nd July – Call to Godrej showroom again – they said they will check and get it delivered the next day. 3rd July – No delivery. Call to Godrej again. They said they forgot the job card again. They will deliver on 4th July 4th July – Part of Kreation and Book Shelf delivered. 5th July – 7th July – Chasing Godrej again for installation 8th July – Installation chap turns up and installs Kreation. He also discovers that book shelf does not have hardware to be installed. 9th July – 14th July – Chasing Godrej showroom for hardware and nothing seems to be happening. regards, Devendra Mehta
