I am an architect and journalist based in New York, and my father who is a client has been a lawfully associated buyer of one of the units in the Godrej Nature Plus 16th Parkview project. However due to pandemic restrictions, and ailing health issues he is currently not in the position to finish his final installments for the unit and we have been repeatedly approaching the Godrej team regarding this. One of their employees misled us and informed us that the cancellation process was not possible, and because of lack of information, my father believed their team.

Later we managed to make certain payments but currently are no longer in the position to bear any more financial transactions for this. I emailed them last week regarding the same.

Now instead of pushing the deadlines for payments, after discussing with our lawyer as per RERA law Section 18 sub-section (a) and the company policies, as buyers, we are allowed to terminate/cancel the project and receive the rightful refund.

I'd like the consumer forum to help us navigate to the right set of authorities and protect us from being misled, and fraudulent behavior.

We'd need to know the protocols for the immediate cancellation of our unit and initiate the payment refund for the same. I have also warned them within the email to not delay because they've been doing so.

I have also requested them to provide any other possible ways wherein we'd restrain ourselves from making any further payments and be penalized to meaningless interest charges since we are not in the financial position to continue this association. Despite our repetitive emails they keep on charging us with irrelevant penalties and interests even though the project payments are not just delayed from our end, but the dates have been extended officially from their end as well.

If there's a pandemic for them, then it also affects us as well. I would really want to resolve this issue peacefully without creating hassle for myself and the organization rather than getting into legal processes.

    I had recommended a property to one of my friend in Godrej Hillside, Pune and was been promised a gold voucher, but it's been December now and all we are getting is fake promises from my RM Manoj and his supervisor Ujjwal.
    You guys only give fake promises whether it is related to possession or getting a reference voucher. We have paid 90% of the flat value in Godrej Elements However it's been 1 full year of fake possession commitment. I would never recommend anyone to buy a property with Godrej as it's no less than a local builder.

      This has reference to my earlier complain submitted on 13.05.2021 against Godrej properties team on the subject matter.

      In the said complain I have mentioned the reasons I had to decide the cancellation of my booking. The team responded saying they will revert back. But it appears that they are slept putting oil in their ears.

      I have knocked them on various occasions. But no reply received.

      Consumer complaints team is requested to take action against the Hidden properties for delaying the matter and not refunding the booking amount of Rs. 50000 plus interest to me.

      You people are making fool to customers and then asking the contact details. In case of your demand you would have found out my details from hell. But you could not respond to my last complain, sitting beside like deaf. In my previous complain also I have provided my contact details but didn't receive any call and conclusion from your side. You people are sitting there and doing fraudulent activities. I will definitely expose you to all indian citizens. You are cheaters.

        We had booked 3 bhk flat on 15th Aug 2021 in Godrej Nest, Kandivali -flat no. A 1604 and till date has paid amount of Rs. 11.09 lakhs .

        However, my mom brain cancer got aggravated and we had to divert all our funds and attention towards her treatment. So, we did not had any alternative but to cancel the booking with Godrej Nest. Accordingly, we updated our situation to Godrej Nest and requested them to refund our Rs. 11.09 lakhs on urgent basis, but they refused to refund our money back.

        Kindly help us in getting the refund of Rs. 11.09 lakhs from Godrej Nest

          I had given an EOI of Rs. 1, 00, 000 in Godrej Exquisite in February 2020.
          We had tried to contact Mr. Avinash Jadhav the concerned person of this matter but he has left the company.We further contacted customer care and they asked us to visit the site office of GODREJ EXQUISITE, further, we contacted with Mr. Sourabh Pal at the site office on 14th October 2021 and gave him all the necessary documents but he is still keeping us on stand by.
          Its been over 2 months and we are in touch with him but he is asking for irrelevant documents . I request you to refund our EOI of 100000 within 10 days.

            I bought an apartment in Godrej Infinity Pune back in 2017 and got possession in 2020. I went with Godrej Properties because it is a well known brand. Little did I know that it is going to be such a trouble. I am based out of India and before possession, a major leakage in ceiling was identified. When reported, team confirmed it is fixed. Very recently I rented the property and my tenant informed there has been leakage (in the same area as before) and when escalated with helpdesk, the issue was closed without investigation.
            I had to constantly call Godrej Customer Care and in many cases is always on wait for 1 hour. Customer Relationship Manager had left and nobody to attend issues related to apartment.

            Repeated complains and information had always fallen on deaf years. My tenant being very understanding always try to help in whatever fashion however there has been no co-operation from Godrej Properties staff or customer care.

            My tenant also informed that flat above & below my flat had reported leakages and are still trying to figure out how to deal with Godrej staff.

            My only advise for NRIs. Dont invest in here, construction is not as branded. Customer service which we expects post possession will never be easy for you.

              About frequent unwanted marketing calls

              Now a days I am getti g frequent calls from Godrej properties marketing team which are unwanted and very irritating..within a day they call 3-4 times even after I asked them to remove my name from their database..they keep me calling which made me feel of harassment..now its beyond by endurance and i can handle this harassment..need some solution asap...

              I bought the property ICONIC 2002 in 2015. Paid full in Nov 2020. I live in dubai, hence was able to visit the property only in Sep 2021. I have several complains.
              1. Kitchen leakage: I have rented the property in Oct 2021 and since 1 month my tenants are facing so many issues.
              Major leakage in kitchen sink area.
              2. Electricity issues: There is no sub station. as mentioned in BBA, there should be a sub station, but it is not available.
              3. WATER PROBLEM: No watre since 1 week, No water in any of the toilet flush, if water comes extremely low pressure.
              4. BASEMENT PARKING LOT: not ready at all.

              After paying 2.2CR for the property and such high maintenance how do you expect anyone to live with out water and electricity. its a shame that its a luxurious property and has so many issues, My tenants have complained to move out of my property if the issues are not sorted in 24 hours.

              Will godrej bear my losses?? Who is gona pay me rent?
              Extremely disappointed with the GODREJ management.

                I booked at flat with Godrej Summit on 31st July and I’m writing this on 21st November.
                I have the sanction letter, I’ve already paid the 10% amount but the team says we have to wait for Builder Buyer Agreement, an agreement which we’ve been waiting for, for more than 3 months with no updates whatsoever. Each time I call up the Sales or Admin team; they seem clueless and no timelines are given. At the time of sales, a ready to move in property was shown with 45days buffer for maintenance work.
                Extremely disappointed with the team and the process.

                  Now, I found the following discrepancies in their commitments and quality services.

                  Hi,

                  My flat J2 301 in Godrej Eternity Bangalore has seepage issues. It has been just under two months since we shifted. It is a new apartment complex.
                  Complaint has been raised in MyGate (21st Sep Request ID: 727) and constantly following up with customer service and handover team for resolution with no avail. No one attends to your queries and they come for site visit and no action is taken It has been more than a month since the issue and it is all the more worse now. Customer service cite lack of labour and just the skirt the issue.

                  The dampness issue was raised in Dec'20 before handover and was highlighted and still it is persisting. No suitable solution or work is carried out. I am appalled on how the handover process was undertaken without fixing the issue. No quality checks

                  I regret the decision of investing my hard earned money here, as the construction quality is very poor and absolutely no regard for customer.
                  I am very disappointed with the attitude of customer support and quality of construction. Very shoddy work
                  I would not recommend any one to invest their hard earned money in Godrej properties. Very unhappy.

                  Please can you ask the relevant authorities to take notice and fix the seepage issue at the earliest.

In August 2021 I was offered admission to an executive MBA course at Indian School of Business whose fees is appx 36 lacs as it’s India’s best MBA school.                       With reference above subject, due to some financial constraints I want to make a cancellation request for my booked 3BHK Flat wide no. GDRW1A703.
                      I have tried so much to arrange the remaining 5% advance amount for agreement and some part amount by selling some of the properties in my home town but have been unable to succeed. Also, there is one more Home Loan running in LIC HFL for the earlier purchased plot and Managing that itself is a big challenge for me. Also, I need to clear Credit Card dues which I have made for payment of 5% Advance amount paid for Booking the Flat. Please help us in this regard. Kindly I request you to refund the Advance amount Paid Rs.2, 87, 985/- as soon as possible as such a situation is very much critical for me.
                      This is newly launched project and not even 1month of booking we are cancelling only due to our financial constraints we are not able to arrange money from anywhere we are requesting. Mr. Bharatkumar Sir concerned sales executive is saying there is no refund option available. Please help us we are in big trouble.

                      With reference to your mail, after so much request we didn't expected such a reply from your side, at least some amount of sympathy somebody must have been shown and taken as Human being. We are in a High Financial Debt and I don't see any possible solutions except all of your help of refund otherwise we have to die only. Still Advance paid can be refunded on the basis it is only an application form and not an agreement has been made and none of Godrej representatives has signed and acknowledged the same.                       Further to your email, Cancellation request has been already submitted on 05/11/2021, please refer attached all communications, already I have clearly explained due to my financial situation I am unable to continue further and requested for a refund. Kindly provide the refund as soon as possible. Please I request you not to pressurise me to continue otherwise there is an option left to kill my self, I am in a Big Mental pressure. As a Human being please understand my situation and refund immediately. Still only application had been filled, agreement has not been made and because of me there is no loss to the company. Please refund as soon as possible I am requesting.

                        I have been getting lot of [censored] unwanted calls from the marketing team of godrej properties, even after several request asking them to remove my name and number from their databases. I have been getting lot of calls which is disturbing me. every alternate day i have been getting calls even after repeated denial that i am not intrested they have been calling me. It really frustating

                          I have been receiving 6-10 calls each day from Godrej Properties, I have requested them several times not to call as I am not interested but the calls don't stop.
                          This is highly irritating, please help to stop these calls.

                            We paid Rs. 50, 000 upfront for a flat suggested as per live inventory at a Road Show in Pune at Fairfield Marriott, 12th of Sep. 2021 without even visiting the site upon convincing strategy of their Sales Rep. - Prajwal Muralidhar. We visited the site same week and met their another highly skilled sales rep Mr. Saurabh Mali and got completely convinced and within 6 days on 18th Sep. 2021 completed the 5.5% booking amount by paying additional Rs. 60, 000 for Flat 1201, T-2 Tower Godrej Parkridge. Attached email confirmation received from Godrej towards confirmation of booking for our Flat 1201. To our badluck our home loan took time to approve; so we constantly contacted them via phone and personal visits and even wrote on the email to kindly hold till we finish the loan approval process. They agreed to hold - email attached. Next comes the twist, when our loan got approved all our calls and emails went unanswered. We called Saurabh Mali from a different number, he accidently answered and promised to call back within an hour. This is when we made all ends meet to gather the funds required to go ahead with the Agreement process. But when we got no reply, we decided to visit the site and received another shock that our chosen unit was sold to another customer. Now all we are left with to chose from the left over inventory which we denied as we didn't prefer lower floors and had specifically chosen 1201 for numerology reasons and paid upfront a Google Pay at a Road Show. They made us meet their immature Site Lead Mr. Ranjan who offered us another "exciting deal" - book any flat from left over at same price! wow ! What about the efforts and time we spent arranging funds. Didn't we deserve an intimation from them before releasing the unit allotted and confirmed to us via emails? They argue we didn't reply to an email to mark it confirmed - this is after the Sales team knowing very well that if we confirm and by any chance our loan doesn't get approved they get all the rights to forfeit the entire hard earned money Rs. 1, 10, 000 for no fault of ours. We were very cautious about this as we had read several reviews about forfeited funds of customers. So now they decide to forget the emails wherein we clearly mentioned that we would go ahead with the Agreement once the loan is sanctioned and even our personal visits and phone calls to them to update them about the status of the loan process. So in short, if you reply as Approved - they forfeit the Amount and if you don't they sell your unit to another party without intimation sitting quietly on your money till the time they can and wait for you to come back to act as dictators. My Demand - I want the Unit back T-2, 1201 - which I booked on 12-Sep 2021 (there is a reason for #12) upon your assurances - or same floor in upcoming Phase 3 project. If not, I would go a step ahead to make sure my rights as a consumer are honored!

                              I booked a 2bhk along with my friend in Godrej Nuture, Mamurdi Pune but due to personal circumstances I am not able to go ahead with the deal, however my friend is continuing with the purchase. I am being denied refund of my booking amount (50000). Ideally I should get the full refund however any nominal deduction is understanble but denial of no refund of any type is unfair. Request you to please do something. It is not expected from brand like Godrej, how will I trust in future for anything.

                                I made an expression of interest in Godrej Woods Noida and made a payment of Rs 1 Lac on 15th Sep on the promise of sales representative saying that this amount will get refunded within 30 days and I need not worry and should get the priority number alloted. I was clear and had not even discussed with my family but made the payment on his promise. I made a decision not to go ahead with this on 16th after discussion in my family and send them out a mail for refunding the money. It has been 45 days now and I am always getting a response refund will reflect soon in next 10-15 days, not sure when this will be done.

                                Pls get the refund processed on priority as it has already been more than 30 days as committed.

                                  We have given 1 lakh Rs. on 2nd September 2021 to book Godrej Nature Plus #serenity project
                                  On 4th september we decided to withdraw the amount and decided to drop the idea of booking this flat
                                  We were in constant touch with Jatinter Singh(Sales Representative) from Godrej
                                  Lately Mr. Jatinder have stopped responding to us and we are not sure on the status of our EOI amount
                                  We were told that in 30 days we would be getting the refund but now we don't know the status of refund.
