Gofirst — No refund received for flight canceled by GoFirst airlines

I had booked a flight for 4 passengers on 2nd May to fly from Ranchi to New Delhi on 9th May 2023 using EaseMyTrip website. The airline selected was GoFirst.
Flight number - G8 - 238
PNR number - S5E22V
I had paid a sum of INR 16726.
On 4th May, I received an SMS from Gofirst quoting
“Dear GO FIRST Flyer! Your booking ref:(S5E22V) (09May'23), (G8-238) (IXR-DEL) is cancelled due to operational reasons. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused. You may visit our Website-https://flygofirst.com/Gonxt/ to make amendments to your bookings or call us on[protected]/[protected] upto 2 hrs prior to your flight departure for any further assistance -Team Go First”

I reached out to the helpline numbers provided on the same day in vain. There was no response. I visited their website on the above mentioned link and tried to make amendments but reschedule option was not available. The only option available was to confirm the canceled ticket. I did the same.
I reached out to Easemytrip helpline and they guided me to cancel the ticket on their website orelse refund would not be provided. I followed their instructions.
On 4th May, I received an email confirmation from GoAir refund team quoting,
“ Dear Smart Flyer,

This is with regards to your reservation with Go First of PNR S5E22V. The applicable refund of INR 16576 has been processed to the same mode of payment as follows:

If paid via net banking / debit card, the same shall reflect in your account within seven days
If paid via credit card, the same shall be credited to your credit card account
If paid via travel websites/ travel agent, the same shall be refunded to the travel agent within three working days who will process it to you, request you to please contact them directly

Team Go First”

From 4th of May till today I have not received my refund. I have mailed tons of times to Easemytrip as well as Gofirst and each time I have received the same response,
“ Dear Customer

This is in regard to booking ID: EMT[protected]

We are sorry to inform you that the airline has not initiated the refund yet.

Our team is constantly following up with the airline and once we receive a confirmation the same will be informed and initiated to you.

We would be glad to help you. Please feel free to contact us in case of any other assistance. We are available 24X7.

This refund is extremely important as this is my hard earned money. The flight was canceled by the airlines and therefore I had to book an alternate IndiGo flight at a much higher cost for 10th May as this travel was important due to medical emergencies.
Please help me to get my refund asap.
