My trip from Andaman to Bangalore bearing PNR - QGRCVE was cancelled by Go First airline due to bankruptcy but the refunds have still not received, despite various reminders.

We have been following it up with them from several months and and they are not giving us the Refund amount and its already been around 1 year now.

    Your booking ref: ((JB9NRT) (12 May '23), (G8-64) (Abu Dhabi (AUH)-Kochi (COK))) is cancelled due to operational reasons. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused. I have received this message a week before my departure and was promised that my refund will be done in full. Till now no response even after many follow up. I have filled all the forms and submitted and they don’t respond. I need the refund for mu ticket

      My trips from Delhi to Leh and return vide PNR's D39D2Y & VH4LUE for the flights in May and June 2023 were cancelled by Go First airline due to bankruptcy but the refunds have still not received, despite various reminders.

        Non refund of tkt money for flight canceled

        I had booked 4 tickets to fly on 12th August 2023 from Pune to Delhi vide PNR no EDLHHK . The booking was done 01 May 2023 through Ease my trip. Since your flights have been cancelled I have been writing to Ease my trip demanding the refund. They give a standard reply saying Gofirst has not processed the refund and they will refund only after receiving from your end. This seems to me very unreasonable and fishy because even after 7 months...

        Hi, I booked ticket from go first website in April for my June trip to Thailand. but airline got canceled flights and we need to book ticket from other airlines. I asked for refund to Go first, so they said i have to fill NCLT form for processing. I filled NCLT from but since there is no update on refund. We waited almost 5 months but no clarity from Airline for refund. whenever i called customer care they are saying its under NCLT, they don't know.
        How to get my money back. PNR can provide on request.

          My flight was cancelled due to operational reasons and a refund of 30000 is pending. It is my hard earned money and I’m trying to reach out to gofirst customer care and goibibo but no resolution has been provided yet. It is not a small amount. Please suggest a way to get this refund.

            No refund received for flight canceled by GoFirst airlines

            I had booked a flight for 4 passengers on 2nd May to fly from Ranchi to New Delhi on 9th May 2023 using EaseMyTrip website. The airline selected was GoFirst.
            Flight number - G8 - 238
            PNR number - S5E22V
            I had paid a sum of INR 16726.
            On 4th May, I received an SMS from Gofirst quoting
            “Dear GO FIRST Flyer! Your booking ref:(S5E22V) (09May'23), (G8-238) (IXR-DEL) is cancelled due to operational reasons....

            My Fight GoFirst Airlines from Ahm-Delhi Booking Id:- EMT[protected]; C6LTPC got Cancelled On 02 May 2023. I Got The Information the same day of My Flight. It Was So Stressful I Was To Attend A Official Meeting In Delhi & Then I Had To Book Another Flight With Different Airlines with Double The Fare Price. Today Is 22 May 23, I Am Still Chasing To Get My Refund."

            Please acknowledge my request & arrange my Refund ASAP.

              Hi Team,

              This is regarding my flight No.G8-575. I was about to reach the destination by 6:10 but due to weather condition the flight went to Mumbai again.

              There was no announcement from the Pilot or co-staffs were not providing any updates to us.

              We were told that free refreshments will be provided by Samruddhi (Duty Manager) but the same was not provided to us. Even certain point of time, the assistance bell was also not available to us for even drinking water.

              We would like to get our money back not because of the delay but because of the management issue as people was starving inside because of 9 hours inside a flight.

              I would like to address another issue with my PNR ZYPPFW & M9QS4G at the time of returning back from my journey. The flight got delayed and when i just asked the Head crew (named not exactly remembered but Miss. Sarvada) she told me that i shouldn’t travel with this Airline and i actually felt like not to travel with this company again and would like to inform that this kind of answer is not expected by any customer service oriented company.

              I would like to inform you that these cases can be gone towards social media but i don’t want to do it as that would take the company’s reputation at stake. It’s just i want my compensation for the matter or otherwise i can take this matter at further levels.

              Kindly provide the a refund or we can claim compensation as per the DGC

                My Brother travelled to Phuket from Delhi on 12th Dec 22 from G8 73. He arrived at Phuket, but his luggage has not reached Phuket. We tried reaching to customer care of GoAir but haven't received any help yet. no one is taking any responsibility for the lost. on 12th Go Air customer care executive said that it's not their business to track. we need to connect with Airport authorities only. Today they are asking to mail it some feedback ID and asking time for another 48 hours. My brother is @ Phuket without anything. The experience is really bad with the airlines.

                    Hi

                    Two days ago I was traveling from SXR to DEL and my flight was on 7:15 PM. The flight got delayed until 9 PM. Is this really a plane schedule? What kind of service is this? What if I had another flight to catch? Luckily my next flight was in the morning. But people who we’re traveling in the next hours would have missed their flight just because of your delay. I don’t know how to complain about this but if you can’t keep the schedule up, please shut down the company. We don’t need you and your service.

                    This was my last flight with GoAir. Also you should consider changing the name from GoFirst to GoLast.

                      My flight G8 23 from Mumbai to male on 30th March was cancelled 18 hours before.
                      No communication about the same was given. I came to know when I called customer care look for web check-in issue.
                      After my call all cancellation notifications came.
                      No reason given for the cancellation. Passengers left with no time to rebook/reschedule and even if they manage to do it will cost a fortune.
                      Cancellation done but god knows when the Refund will come.

                      No concern for passengers prior, onward journey, hotel bookings or other work.
                      This affects customers logistically, financially, emotionally and mentally. It is a waste of their time and energy.

                        I've booked flight ticket on 10feb 2022, for march 12 (chennai to ahmedabad)
                        the amount has been debited, but i didnt get any conformation mail
                        instead i received my status is on 'hold' and the amound has been declined. ive checked my bank statement, the amount has been debited.

                          Hi team,
                          My name is Akhil Goel and I've booked a airline ticket from Chandigarh to Goa on 14th Jan 2022 via gofirst. Due to contracting COVID, i requested airlines for complete refund by submitting my COVID reports.
                          A sun of 10.5k was to refunded out of which 4.5k was. Transferred to my account and rest was given as credit shell which I could use for next 1 year. When I tried to book another ticket to check validity of that credit, I got the invalid message and did payment as gofirst customer care suggested they would compensate against new pnr. Now I've lost another set of money and now they said they can't compensate against new pnr. Please help.
