Google India / Tez — complaint against google pay not working on escalated case | |
I had transaction done against a third party vendor (Oyo) and the amount got debited from my bank account, but resulted in transaction failure from vendor and successful from google pay upi. After investigating with vendor, the payment had not received from google pay and was shown as failure in their system. I had no choice but to escalate this issue with google pay. The incident went into escalation on 18th november and yet the technical team is not able to figure out the issue with the transaction. No proper update is provided on the progress done by the technical team and its still under investigation everytime i do a followup call. Manager or team leaders avoid receiving the customer calls, and nor do they call back to assist and escalate this issue. This is complete waste of time for a customer as support agents are trained hard to make customer hangup the call with positive note by giving false commitments, deadlines on resolution, call backs from managers etc. As a customer, i have not update on the progress on whats happening with the case and where has it reached.
