Google India / Tez — wrong transaction of rs. 5000 to some other account by google pay | |||
Sir/madam, I made transaction of rs. 5000/- on[protected] through google pay (Tez) with upi transaction id:[protected] and it's showing transaction successful. By mistake i entered wrong account number but ifsc code is correct. I have attached my account statement for your reference. Actually i'm supposed to do transaction to below account. Account number:[protected] Ifsc code: icic0003540 (Chennai vepery branch). But by mistake i entered this account number:[protected]. This account belongs to person in bihar. The account number and ifsc code which i entered doesn't match in my case. If it doesn't match it should cross check both and transaction should become failure. But money was transferred successfully to a wrong account in bihar. Regarding this i enquired to google pay, they replied that they refer only to account number. Then what is the reason for asking ifsc code. Further at the time transaction it has verified that the account belongs to chennai vepery. But still its transferred to an account in bihar. I kindly request you a accept my complaint and take action on google pay (Tez) and help me to get back the amount of rs. 5000/- Thanks in advance for your prompt account. Regards, Mohamed ashik.
