The smart vital watch was working ok since purchase 1 yr 2 months
Then the battery won't charge sometimes
Now it is not charging at all
The charger shows 5.11V which means it should be ok
After complaining to the company they did call but since it was more than a year old it was out of warranty
They expressed inability to repair informing there is no service center available
It is strange that a company claiming product made in India don't have any service network
We are left to find out ourselves and try our luck if any local shop is able to help
I am not sure if the law allows to sell products without any obligation to provide free or paid service
A watch worth Rs3000 is suddenly useless now
The company is probably doing business in crores of rupees
There official website don't have any phone number and only one email is mentioned
It is not about the money I lost but felt cheated that the product has to be thrown away just because the company don't want to provide service
If anyone can take up such a case with the right government authorities and stop such companies or make 5hem provide service it will help
I also recently came across MI for a battery replacement where they said company donot provide service for products more than 3 yers old
