Gre Edge — gre edge scam/fraudulent advertising

I'm planning for higher studies abroad next year, and for guidance with the application process and convenience, i enrolled with gre edge (Based in chennai) in their dream universities - global, admission counselling program. The enrolment was completed in 2019 and we paid rs.28, 000.

The services, as per their website included -

1. Highly personalised admission counselling.
2. Profile specific university selection.
3. Expert analysis on sop and lor.
4. Support in financial documentation.
5. Counselling for visa interviews.
6. Interactive admission webinars with experts
7. Pre departure information


1) breach 1
❖ miscommunication between sales team and admissions team.
❖ 'global' part of the program ignored (Only one country considered).
❖ complete details of global program missing from website.
❖ scheduled calls were not made.
❖ delay in service


I received a list o[censored]niversities, all from the uk, even though more than 7-8 countries were suggested by me and no other countries mentioned pre-enrolment were included. Following that i told ms. Kirthana i enrolled in 'global' program for a reason and asked her to get back to me with universities from other countries as well. I was told that my request will be passed on to the admissions team.



2) breach 2
• instructions ignored.
• no progress since one month of enrolment.
• constant delay in service
• miscommunication (Even though i made sure there was no room was miscommunication) due to which quality of service was compromised.

❖ calls and messages made by me ignored.
❖ grievance not handled properly, no scheduled calls made.


Breach 2 details


Due to substandard and delayed services and no progress at all i decided to get a full refund. I was supposed to receive a call from refund department (As promised by kirthana gre staff member). I was informed that i'd receive an update, but i didn't receive any calls.

I left messages for kirthana on admission tracker, scheduled call with her, but all of it was ignored. I tried contacting nidharshana (Gre edge staff member) i called her 10 to 15 times; all the calls were not answered. During that same time, she was also online on whatsapp (I have the screenshot), hence proving that my calls were deliberately ignored. I called the number available on the website, and no response. I called the quality team number, it's automated and it said no one was available to talk and the call was disconnected. Following this, i messaged kirthana and quality assurance team conveying sheer disappointment and our decision to file a legal suit and a police complaint. I was clear about how no more chances can be given for doing their job right.

I'm still awaiting my refund, which they have indicated to initiate despite the repeated grievance calls made. And they further had the audacity to say they will only refund if i do not make a public complaint.

Better way to spend your money. Do not waste your money on gre edge, instead -

A) buy the barron's text book
B) buy the princeton text book
C) solve the nova math text

I had the worst experience of my life with greedge.com. I request all gre aspirants not to enroll with them.
