Grofers — not delivering the order and cancelling it. | |||||
I placed an order on grofers.com on 19th april 2018 and they scheduled the delivery between 4pm-7 pm on 21st april 2018. The order was not delivered till 9 pm on 21st night i checked their website, logged into my account and clicked the link say"report an issue". Though the tracking on their website was showing out for delivery. As soon as i clicked i got a call from grofers saying that they would not be able to execute my order and they need to cancel it because my address is not correct. However my address is the same which is use for all online deliveries from other sites too. When i told them that they could have confirmed the address in past 2 days since when i had placed the order, the executive told that they tried calling me afternoon but my phone was not reachable. Though my phone was reachable throughout the day. When i asked the execute to connect me to a senior official he said they were busy with other calls. I hope such practices by these companies are seriously looked into and people should avoid doing business with them. Was this information helpful? | |||||
