Groupon India / Nearbuy — Fictitious offer/cancellation after sales of deal | |||||
Nearbuy by Groupon publishes discounted offers online. I regularly purchase the offers and present it to the merchant participating in the offer. Lately, the merchants have not been honoring the offers with a pretext that they were never made aware of this up front or these offers would be loss making for them. This results in disappointment at customers end. Secondly, Groupon started cancelling and refunding the deals stating "unforeseen circumstances". Although the refund is made this is still a breach of trust & cancellation of sales. How do you believe the online offers are real and genuine going forward. When one contacts the customer service - all they say is that they are taking the matter seriously and that it would not happen again. Was this information helpful? | |||||
