Gujarat University — Urgent Request for Official Response to NZQA Transcript Verification Tina Khushiram Gulabvani

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Tina Khushiram Gulabvani (married name: Tina Bambani). I am currently living in New Zealand and I require the verification and assessment of my educational qualifications for my further visa and immigration process.

I completed my Master of Commerce (M.Com.) from Gujarat University. As part of my immigration process in New Zealand, I applied to the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) for an International Qualification Assessment (IQA).

My details are as follows:

Gujarat University has already verified my degree and sent the verification directly to NZQA. NZQA has also confirmed to me that they received the degree verification email from Gujarat University.

However, NZQA subsequently required transcript verification as well. On 28 July 2026, NZQA sent an email to Gujarat University at [protected]@gujaratuniversity.ac.in requesting confirmation regarding my transcript.

Unfortunately, NZQA has informed me that they have not received any response from Gujarat University regarding the transcript verification.

I recently asked my brother to visit Gujarat University personally to understand and resolve this matter. He was informed that Gujarat University does not conduct transcript verification for external students. I completely understand and respect the University's policy regarding external students, and I am not requesting the University to conduct a transcript verification if it is against University policy.

My request is simply that Gujarat University provide an official response directly to NZQA, explaining that transcript verification cannot be provided because I was an external student.

NZQA has clearly advised me that they require a response directly from Gujarat University and cannot accept an explanation or letter provided by me. Therefore, without an official response from the University, I have no way to resolve this matter with NZQA.

Unfortunately, when my brother requested the concerned assistant of Dr Paresh Prajapati to simply respond to the NZQA email received on 28 July 2026, She was told that “we are not replying to any emails from any foreign institution.”

I found this response extremely disappointing. I fully respect the University's policies, but if Gujarat University is unable to provide transcript verification for an external student, I believe the University should at least communicate this officially to the concerned foreign institution when that institution has contacted the University for clarification.

I obtained my degree from Gujarat University, and therefore it is only natural that I approach my University when an official verification issue arises concerning my qualification.

This matter may appear to be a small issue, but it is extremely important for my visa and immigration process in New Zealand. A simple official response from Gujarat University to NZQA could resolve the matter and prevent unnecessary delays and complications in my immigration process.

I therefore sincerely request the University and the concerned authority to kindly:

Review my case and the NZQA request sent on 28 July 2026.
Provide an official response directly to NZQA confirming the University's policy that transcript verification cannot be provided for external students, if that is the University's position.
If the matter needs to be handled by another department or officer, kindly forward the NZQA request to the appropriate person.
Please help resolve this matter at the earliest possible opportunity, as any further delay may negatively affect my visa and immigration process.

I am not asking Gujarat University to change its policy or provide something that it does not normally provide. I am only requesting an official clarification to NZQA, so that both the University and NZQA can properly close this verification matter.

I would be very grateful for your assistance and prompt attention to this issue.
