Gulf Air — As per luggage issued on ticket is not allwoed

Subject: Urgent: Complaint Regarding Missing Luggage and Request for Refund

Dear GULF AIR Department,

I am writing to formally complain about the handling of my luggage on my recent journey from Dammam to Bangalore via Bahrain. My ticket was booked for the following flights:

Flight GF110 from Dammam to Bahrain on 5th August
Flight GF282 from Bahrain to Mumbai
Flight AI639 from Mumbai to Bangalore
Upon arrival in Bahrain, I learned that Flight GF282 had already departed. Gulf Air arranged alternative travel for me, booking me on a flight from Bahrain to Mumbai and then a domestic flight with Air India (AI 639) from Mumbai to Bangalore.

However, when I attempted to board the Air India flight, I was informed that I was only allowed 2 pieces of baggage. I was forced to pay for the additional baggage fees, despite my original ticket including more luggage allowance.

I contacted Gulf Air for assistance and was advised to pay the extra fees at that moment and seek reimbursement online. This process has been highly inconvenient and unsatisfactory.

I kindly request that you review this matter and provide a refund for the additional baggage fees I incurred due to this situation. I would appreciate prompt assistance to resolve this issue.
