Flight delay and luggage delay and missing luggage
Dear Team, I have booked my gulf air ticket from Hyderabad to dallas texas along with family. We have missed connectivity flight at London due to late of flight from Bahrain to London which is completely not out fault. We had to wait for 5-6 hours at London airport without minimum resources like water or nothing. Even cabin baggage were forced to check in at Hyderabad airport. We had to halt for 2 days at London where we having 3 years kid suffered alot due to London halt. Finally we got flight to dallas via detroit connecting flight after 2 days in delta airlines which rebooked by gulf airlines. But, Our baggage we received after 2 days and now out of 8 bags, 1 was missing and still no update from gulf air or delta. I must need them today as I have my blood pressure and diabetes medines which have some specific prescription from speciality doctor in India. I am not well now and this is really ridiculous. I request for taking strict action on airlines and also I must get compensation along with baggage. I was really mentally harassed by airlines because of this.

Harassment
I was denied boarding on Dec 10th 2022. I have a one year Indian VISA from the USA and I missed the 6 moth (180 day) exit/entry rule. Foreign nationals are supposed to exist after 180 days. For me, the exit and reenter date was on November 21st but my flight was on December 10th. In these cases, foreigners are supposed to go to an Immigration Office to get an exit VISA.
I understood my mistake and asked to get assistance with accessing Bangalore airport WiFi. I didn't have an Indian SIM card (and couldn't get an OTP) since I thought I was leaving the country. I asked two male attendants for assistance with accessing the WiFi and they told me to ask my husband for help. I thought they were confused so I told them that I'm travelling alone in India and they need to do their job and assist customers. Please note, I'm just asking for help with accessing the WiFi. They were extremely rude, hostile, and aggressive. The situation escalated until I was able to get out of the airport.
These two men were clearly unwell mentally and had some discriminatory ideas that prevented them from doing their jobs and being professional.

Denied boarding on confirmed ticket,ride , unethical and discriminative behaviour of staff
I had a confirmed ticket on Gulf Air flight GF 70 Cairo - Bahrain - Delhi on 13 August 2022. Presumably due to overbooking, I was denied boarding and the staff at the counter were rude and won't listen to me that a as a senior citizen, I didn't deserve such rude behaviour. Not only that, they were discriminative as they accomodated some passengers of their own community in another flight but I was made to exit the airport . I had to book another flight for next day which cost me Rs 54000/- (approximately) and also had to bear the cost of hotel accommodation i.e. USD 120. Gulf Air has taken no action on my complaint so far. In fact, they haven't responded at all.

Unethical behavior denied refund

Dear Sir/ Madam,
I purchased Gulf air ticket online to travel along with my son from Hyderabad (India) to Bahrain on 10th September PNR -XGUEVN, Ticket #[protected] &[protected]. While purchasing the ticket I filled in all details including our Canadian Passport details.
A day prior to the flight I received a call from Gulf Air customer care representative as a reminder for our upcoming travel. I updated her with our passport details and specifically informed that it is Canadian. As per the requirement we had the RT-PCR test done and travelled 200 Kms to Hyderabad from my native place.
But to our surprise, the gulf air representative at the airport counter denied boarding on that flight citing Canadian nationality and air bubble flight agreement which I tried to convince them OCI card holders were allowed to travel as of 29July 2021. I requested them it would be very hard for us to travel back to my home town and I already had my RT PCR done and my ticket would go waste.
My Husband works in Bahrain and due to Covid we were not able to meet him for more than a year. I pleaded with them to allow us to travel.
Gulf air representative assured me that my ticket will not go waste and they would update denied boardng on the records for necessary refund claims.
On 16th September I booked my ticket on other airline and reached Bahrain.The ordeal of the process of cancellation of my ticket and to get refund started .I called the Gulf Air customer service and I was told it is updated as No Show and I need to pay penalty. How is it a No Show when they denied boarding.
I sent an Email to Gulf Air Customer service. Complaint number :[protected]
I received a response on November 25 stating that as of July 29, 2021 the air bubble agreement was changed to accept all Nationalities. I responded to that Email asking why boarding was denied to me on September 10th 2021 when the rule has changed on 29 July 2021!!
The Gulf Air Customer care replied on November 9, 2021 the reply was ambiguous she just mentioned that it was my responsibility to have the proper documents and visa. I informed them that being Canadian citizen I was eligible for Visa on arrival and that was not the reason of denial mentioned at airport. I responded to her mail stating that I wasn’t denied boarding due to Visa issues.
The Gulf Air Customer care responded to my mail on 25th November, 2021 with a new allegation that it was my decision to get offloaded from the flight. Why would I get a RT- PCR, I travel 200 kms (4 hrs) in the middle of the night, and decide to get offloaded. I replied back that it wasn’t true there is no response yet. Each time I get a totally ambiguous and contradictory response from the Gulf Air Customer Care team.
Hence after several patient failed attempts to claim refund for my ticket. I am writing to you and request you to kindly look into the matter and do justice to me.

I booked a ticket with Gulf Air from their website, (Booking ref: RVWYKU, Departure Thu, 22 April 2021), for my family and 3 kids. This ticket was under smart fare option (that I can cancel and get the refund). Since my family's Bahrain Visa got delayed, I wanted to cancel the flight on 21st morning, but I was surprised by below:
1. Online booking cannot be cancelled online at Gulf Air website
2, 24 hours Advance period for cancellation is not mention at refund policy of Gulf Air website https://www.gulfair.com/support/refund-policy
Refund Policy | Gulf Air
Gulf Air refund policy is determined by the type of ticket purchased. Refunds or partial refunds will be processed as far as the rules of the purchased fare allow for such refund. On the other hand, for non-refundable tickets, only airport and government taxes may be refunded.

Even the terms and conditions of the ticket does not mention about 24 hours advance ticket cancellation.
3. I waited for 30 minutes on call at your KSA number [protected] (World Wide Call Centre )but no agent answered, and finally I sent an email that I am not able to get through your number and I want to cancel the ticket and Gulf Air replied that as the 24 hours window has passed this ticket is now "NON-REDUNDABLE"
It seems Gulf Air is hiding the details of cancellation intentionally, as I was assured when I went through the refund policy that I will get the refund as I 24 hours is not mention on their refund policy
Later even I tried to re-route the ticket from Maldives to Bahrain and their agent without even my consent charged my credit card with another BD 220 for re-routing and instead of admitting the mistake Gulf Air is saying that I gave the consent, when I asked to share the recording of the conversation, till now they have not shared the recording.
I want a refund of full amount after deducting USD 60, which was supposed to be cancellation fees. And I do not want anything from them, as

complaint flight delayed
First fligt gf135 was ok from delhi to bahrain.. The flight gf019 from bahrain to paris charles de gaulle was delayed and i missed the flight to paris charles de gaulle. I had to stay all the day in bahrain and take the flight on the 4th of march at 1:35 instead of the 3th march at 1:35. I missed my train on the 3rd march in paris to go to my place and i had to buy another ticket on monday to reach my place. I lost one day work non payed. Thank you for telling me if i can obtain any financial compensation

My name is abdul rahaman, i recently booked a couple of tickets for the gulf air flight from india to dammam, and i just called them to inquire about the airline cancellation charges and rescheduling charges, and i was asked for credit card details along with pin and cvv number to proceed. When i refused to provide the details the lady over the phone forced me to provide the card details & when i refused in the second attempt, she threatened me that she'll disconnect my phone call if not provided the credit card details.
Please do respond me. Is this the way to treat the customers.

Gulf air flights are delayed to such an extent that they have the audacity to ill treat the passenger by not giving any solution which is viable. They did not try to put us onto another flight also. So much of agony has been caused by gulf air. The airlines representative were very unethical. Some serious action has to be taken for such irresponsible behaviour

This mail is to bring it to your kind notice that i have book a ticket from doha - chennai with the above pnr reference on 18th february 2017. Its actually booked for my brother who was travelling for the the first time in gulf air. Since i had traveled several times with your airlines i recommended him even though he wanted the ticket to be booked in qatar airways. The flight from doha is supposed to have been started at 11:30am on 19th february 2017, whereas it started only at 2:40pm. We were exhausted with that delay. His transit was in bahrain for 1hour and from bahrain the flight is supposed to have been started at 1:35pm but they rescheduled and arranged it for the next flight which is only at 8:30pm. All his programs were delayed because of this.
All these dramas are made just to club two flight passengers in one flight which is supposed to start from bahrain-chennai at 8:30pm. We had a a very very bad experience with the gulf air because of this attitude. Instead you should have cancelled the 11:30am doha-bahrain flight and instead of we waiting in the airports like this, we would have traveled normally. I normally travel with my family in gulf air only. And after this incident it makes me realize not to recommend or travel in gulf air & book my tickets thru makemytrip any more.

I am ayyavu mahendran. I was traveled gulf air from riyadh to chennai on 20/08/2016. When i reached chennai airport i didn't get my luggage. I was registered my complaint at chennai airport. But until now i am not get my luggage. Kindly arrange me to get my luggage.

I along with my sister, nephew and bother in law went to dubai on 23th November 2015 by flydubai and was returning to india by gulf air on 30th november 2015. I was not allowed to check in while other were allowed to check in as I was having manual hand written passport saying there is rule which says manual passpprt are banned from 24th November 2015.
I latter on tried with other flight operator spice jet which allpwed me saying I m going to my home country but that ticket cost me 1135 aed approx 22000rs.
I m nieghter given refund of my gilf qor ticket.

baggage missing
I was flied from chennai to abudhabi on 10th july and reached early morning by ethihad airways (1:55 Am). As the connecting flight has missed out, I was asked o travel by gulf air to Bharain and from there to Jeddah.My baggage was tagged GF361626 on baharain.. Non cooperative and rude staff at Gulf Air customer services
Dear Concern person,
I was traveling to Katmandu Nepal on 4th March 2012, by Gulf air flight GF260, and I reached at the boarding counter with my confirmed ticket, 2 hours prior to the flight time, the person at the boarding counter kept me waiting for more than half hour then he send me to the Gulf air customer services saying that the flight is full and I should talk to them.
The person sitting at the Gulf air costumer services told me that he only has one seat left which is in business class and he can get me that seat if I pay him the difference of the fair. I replied him that I will pay the difference of fair because I had to go on this flight due to my meeting schedules and hotel booking at Crown Plaza.
After some time the Gulf air people gave that one seat to one of their gold card member and told me that they cannot help me and they can only get me a seat in the same time flight next day. After arguing with them for more the half hour finely they issued me a boarding pass on the next flight which is on the next day.
I am very upset with the Gulf air because they caused me a lot of stress which is not only because of my schedule is totally upset, my booking at the hotel is wasted and most importantly because of their staffs sitting at the costumer services are totally non cooperative and rude.
Because of this I will think several times before, if I had to fly with Gulf air and I will also make sure to advice all the people I knew never to fly with Gulf air again.
Thanks for ruining my whole trip.

refund for the flight missed due to delay from Gulf Air
 BOOKING REF Y3ACEZ. I flyed with GF from Kuwait to Mumbai. I had a Very bad experience of delay for more then 3 hours for delay from GF due to technical fault. Due to your delay from GF I have missed my next flight. I was assured in by the flight staff of GF that they will arrange the next flight for me. As it is due to GF delay. Later when I reached to Mumbai The ground staff refused for any help. I have to bear the loss due to your flight. Requesting claiming our lost
Dear Sir.
This is to inform your good office that we Fawziya Khalid Recruitment office at Hawaaly Kuwait. One our passenger (SAMSUNNISHA/AAM MS, Ticket no[protected] and issued ticket by Gulf air flight no 211 and the arriving time was at 0305 AM on 11 February 2011 but the Manama air port were board our passenger 12 hours early by Thursday Evening arriving flight.
Due to not arrive according to the issued air ticket schedule, we were paid penalty 15 KWD (Fifteen Kuwaiti dinars) to the Kuwait air port.
I have attaché the ticket copy of arrived passenger and visa copy along with the penalty paid voucher so please kindly get action to reimburse our lost.

Usually air carrier propose vouchers for food and drinks, if the delay of 2 hours or more.
The Gulf air carrier propose vouchers as partial payment for their own future flights, and make the reservation for the nearest flight, if the delay of 6 hours or more.
You can apply for the compensation by your own.
If you do not know the rules, or the compensation is not paid in full,
the legal assistance before the authority of France can cost you, starting from EUR 75.
The authority must award you with the amount of compensation, according to the law,
and the reasonable expenses, for legal assistance including, by the final decision.
