I enrolled in GUVI’s Data Science program on 24 March 2025.
On 30 March 2025, within the 7-day refund window, I clearly informed the Program Manager Apoorv Kumar (via WhatsApp and calls) that I wanted to discontinue. Unfortunately, he ignored my messages and calls and only replied on 1 April 2025, after the refund window had expired.
Most importantly, on 15 March 2025, Apoorv Kumar himself had confirmed to me in writing:
“If you feel the course is not the right fit for you, you can cancel within 7 days of the main classes commencing. In such a case, the EMI process will be stopped accordingly.”
Despite this assurance, GUVI has denied my refund request, falsely claiming that I requested cancellation much later (24 April). They also accessed my account without permission and used attendance records as an excuse, ignoring that my continuation was only due to forced EMI deductions.
I have already filed:
Consumer Forum Complaint (Docket No. 7814703)
Cyber Crime Complaint (Acknowledgment No. [protected])
GUVI’s negligence, delay in response, and Program Manager ignoring my repeated calls and messages caused me financial loss. I am sharing my experience so that other learners in India are aware before enrolling. Was this information helpful? |
