GVK EMRI 108 Ambulance Services — Rude behaviour of the staff

This is the worst experience of my life that too from the service which states that life matters. My husband got ill in the midnight, and I called for 108..I explained the complete address and I was being told they are passing the information to the nearest stationed 108 ambulance. I did get the call again but to tell me that someone should stand at the entrance gate of the appartment (I reside on the 4th Floor). I told them very categorically that there is no one at home and I can't leave my husband alone, but the caller kept on insisting that make sure someone is there at the entrance gate. After 10 minutes I again got the call that the ambulance is waiting at the entrance gate and I should get the patient down to the ambulance. I told him that I am alone and he should come and atleast check up the patient first but the staff of 108 did not budge. In the meantime few of our neighbours got up and argued with staff but to our surprise the 108 staff whose name was Paresh Patel started shouting and abusing. Finally he did come upstairs and was extremely rude to the patient also. When I told him that I will register a complaint he was very casual about it and replied everyday people complaint about us but nothing will happen.


I am at a loss to understand how does 108 which is an emergency service employees such loss for whom humanity does not matter at all.

This service is for the people. Therefore deficiency from an individual should not impact the whole service done with noble cause.
