I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Healthian, specifically regarding the actions of their executive, Mr. Pradhan (Contact Number: [protected]). He engaged in unethical behavior, including making false promises about service pricing and later harassing me when I attempted to resolve the issue.
Incident Details:
1. Initial Offer and Payment:
- On June 23rd, 2024, Mr. Pradhan contacted me via WhatsApp offering a discounted price for a full body health checkup with Vitamin Screening. The original price was ₹1770, but Mr. Pradhan offered to reduce it to ₹1600, promising to cover the ₹170 difference himself to help meet his sales targets.
- I accepted the offer and scheduled the blood sample collection for June 26th, 2024. However, on the day of the collection, a different individual arrived to collect the sample and requested the full payment of ₹1770. Upon contacting Mr. Pradhan, he assured me that I should pay the full amount and that he would refund the ₹170 later.
- Trusting his word, I paid the full amount via UPI.
2. Failure to Refund and Subsequent Non-Responsiveness:
- After the payment, I attempted multiple times to contact Mr. Pradhan regarding the promised refund. He did not respond to my calls or messages, leaving me feeling deceived.
- I also contacted Healthian Customer Care and informed them of the situation. They assured me that a link would be provided for the refund, but I never received it.
3. Harassment and Rude Behavior:
- On August 10th, 2024, Mr. Pradhan contacted me again with a new promotional offer. When I questioned him about the unresolved refund from the previous incident, he responded rudely and abusively. He then deleted his abusive messages, but the distress caused by his behavior was significant.
- This conduct is entirely unprofessional and has left me feeling harassed.
Request for Resolution:
I request that your office take immediate action against Healthian and Mr. Pradhan (Contact Number: [protected]) for the following reasons:
- Fraudulent Misrepresentation: Offering a discount and failing to honor it constitutes fraud.
- Harassment: Mr. Pradhan's rude and abusive behavior is unacceptable and has caused significant distress.
- Failure to Resolve: Despite reaching out to Healthian Customer Care, no resolution has been provided.
I urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to ensure that I receive the refund of ₹170 as promised, along with an apology for the harassment I have endured. Additionally, I request that strict action be taken against Mr. Pradhan to prevent such incidents from happening to other customers.
