Helios And Matheson — Bounce of Post Dated Cheque

My post dated cheque no.FDB 030711 issued by company worth Rs. 50, 000/- against FDR has been bounced on its maturity under remark " Stop Payment". In spite of my various efforts to talk with company, no responce from their side. My advocate advises to go for registering case under section 138 of NI Act. But I want to discuss first with company before starting process of s 138. Kindly help me in this regard. A.K.Pandey
