Helios And Matheson — Non receipt of FD - Principal amount and Interest of 2 FDS

My 72 year old widowed mother Mrs. Thrity Master, has 2 FDs in your company amounting to 3 lacs and 5 lacs bought seperately These are the details - APPL REF No. 128231 TDR No. CDB051398 & APPL.REF NO - 111854 TDR NO CDBO41302 . During the time of the first FD which got matured in June 14, I got a letter from the company stating not to deposit the Prinicipal amount cheque, as they have done stop payment because of the new regulation of the SEBI, and we will get another cheque within 2 months, which has still not come after almost a year . for the other FD of 3 lacs I deposited the cheques on the maturity date which was 18th February 2015 . My cheque of Rs300000 of the principal amount and the interest cheque of 38040 both have bounced, with the reason of insufficient funds . This is the only source of income my mom has, she lives alone after my fathers demise and, I find it COMPLETELY unethical on the part of the company, which shows such fantastic financial growth on their balance sheets of each quarter, to delay the payment of such hard earned money of senior citizens like my mom, which they placed with your company to get more interest, and that too with so much faith and trust .
