I had my mom admitted on 28, March 2021 with tiredness fatigue with discharge documents from a local hospital in Kalyan city. Post admission doctors diagnosed that mom is suffering with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia) which is treatable using drugs as suggested by consulting doctors Dr Jijina Farah and Dr Balakrishna Padate, doctors told us with the treatment plan that we can think on getting mom to Foreign Country Singapore or USA where treatment is quite advanced and they will have mom ready to travel in flight, we post family discussions told doctors that we would like to get mom shifted to best hospital in USA and we will do further treatment there and we had the admission from US hospital doctor Farah Jijina said we will make my mom ready to travel, mom was doing well Healthy with all the tests normal Done at Hinduja hospital prescribed by doctors, and but post the day at night time mom was given medication to constipation which was high dose so moms lips were dry and On call doctor at night gave mom medication which decreased moms saturation of oxygen to 89 and mom was admitted to ICU post and was call Ed death within 24 hours.
My concern is
1) Consultant doctors prescribed heavy dose of medicine without making sure mom was able to sustain them
2) Consultant doctors didn’t tell the treatment to be done for AML as soon as possible locally and suggested us to travel to different country for treatment and disease would spread soon.
3) Doctor gave medicine which brought the oxygen saturation to lower which caused ICU admission and post death.
4) ICU doctors said lie in why mom was in ICU over looking the fault of on call doctor who gave medicine to make mom in a state to get in ICU
5) ICU doctors weren’t so qualified to do the treatment all senior doctors were not present to treat. Was this information helpful? |
