Since i was scheduled to undergo a treatment under dr. Hinduja, my husband and i were required to do covid test. We were told to it at Hinduja hospital itself as the facility is available and will be convenient. We rushed to do the covid test. While my report came negative, my husband’s report was positive. The test was done at about 12:17PM on 28 January 2022. Since it came positive we were told to get the test again at some other centre and my husband got the test done at SRL Avinash Phadke lab, Mahim at about 10:15 PM of 28 January 2022. We were asked to pay a heft sum for the reports to be delivered urgently and we did that and that report came NEGATIVE. Today, ie 29 January 2022, we again did a covid RT PCR test at Metropolis at 12:57PM and that test also came NEGATIVE. Can you please tell us how could your reputed hospital’s report come opposite of the 2 reports ??? Please note this incorrect, false, defamatory report has caused me and my family lot of trouble. We could not complete the procedure because his report came positive, we are facing embarrassment in our society, i have taken several injections to get the procedure completed, however it has all failed all thanks to your INCORRECT report.
You got to do something and let me know why such incorrect report was generated.

I am Dr Deepa Mallya...yours being a so called reputed hospital, my patient was made to undergo a harrowing experience..I ha taken an appointment from your capl centre from your employee named Rizwan to whom inspite of mentioning the patient's age as 57 male he gave me an appointment of a paediatric neurologist Dr Neelu Desai...saying that his window showed the consultant as rreating those patients too who are 17 yrs above.
When the patient arrived at the hospital he was made to wait outside by the security ...even the customer care threw hand up in the air saying the fault was not from their dept...Every dept was playing a blame game and no alternative appointment of that time was provided...Patient had a stroke 2 days back and he had to travel back again...Inspite of the hospital employee who is a part of hinduja he being at fault no solution was provided...I will make sure to highlight this on as much as platforms and social media as possible so you understand the gravity of the situation

I had visited OPD at Hinduja hospital Mahim for a back ache issue. We were charged total AMT of RS 1990 out of which RS 290 were towards droplet and safety protection charges. At the entrance we were given disposable mask and temperature was taken, we sanitised our hands. After consultation I was advised cervical spine X ray. Again along with X ray charges rs 350 were recovered from me towards covid Droplet precaution care. I was told that for each dept I would be charged separately
I think this is outright cheating by the hospital by taking advantage of covid pandemic. Please look into the matter.

              Dear sir,
This is in reference/complaint to our misplaced mri films of brain (Total 25-30 fils)

              1. Patient name : namita asawa
              2. Hh no : 1538554

We have submitted / handover our previous brain mri films (Total bag -5, total films -25 to30)
To dr rohan for case study purpose on 02/09/2019 and did not receive it back.
These mri films was from july-2016 to jun -2019 from infocus diagnostics, ahmedabad.
At the time of discharge we contact to floor nursing station and told them about this, they told us to wait for some time
And they'll find us the mri fims as there record is showing that mri films received by them but not returned,
We waited for 1 hour and final come out that dr reema was last person seen with these mri films.
And at that time she was unable to connect so head nurse asha or disha (I do not remember the name) took
Our contact and she told us that she 'll contact us next day as soon as she get to dr reema and mri films.
We also went to your customer care cabin and they also called to nursing station of 14th floor but reply was same, we asked
Your customer care person to register our complaint about misplacement of mri films but they did not entertained (We could
Not understand what kind of customer care is this….. Anyways).
Next day on 10/09/2019 we received call from customer care and dr reema that they are in search
Of mri films and after that we did not received any call, we took further steps and called to dr reema
Your icu nursing station, your customer care, your security department and requested
Them they should check cc tv recording of icu department as we seen these mri fils last time in
              Icu on 3/09/19 and 04/09/19.
Yet we did not received our mri films and these are precious films for us as our patient is need to
              Go for radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
We are requesting again and again and not getting our mri films, is this the system of your hospital
That you can misplace so important reports of an patient.
Please look in to the matter and arrange to search our mri films thoroughly and return us back.

I have book online appointment to doctor gusahani rd date 13/05/19. Appointment number 8804312. I have do online payment for this appointment 1700 rs on date 12/05/29.in my account this amount is deducted but when i go to hospital for opd checkup hospital staff say we not found your transition amount. So we can do again payment 1900 rs. Hinduja staff say after sometime your online payment amount will be refunded automatically. But now after 11 days i have not got my amount.
We were asked to pay advance for a surgery, but no proper information as to how one needs to pay online from the Hindjua website was provided. The telephone numbers were just impossible to get through. The covid person was so dumb, he was not willing to make a slip for the test. How can you employ a person who cannot understand.

Hinduja must take care at the time of making a reservation, inform the patient how he/she needs to make the payment via their website, esp when this is their first time, so things move smoothly.

Staff is very very rude... They dont have sense to how to talk with patients... Doctors timing is not proper. Doctor ashish jain is always not available.
We come to your hospital from jogeshwari for a treatment, not to see the rude behaviors of your staff
We also give the fees. We will change the doctor... And will not recommend hinduja hospital to anyone... Very very disappointed...

Dear P.D Hinduja National Hospital & Medical Research Team,

This is to bring to your kind notice that I went to see a doctor at your hospital, Mr. Sudhir Pillai for my mother's ailment. He advised me to admit my mother at your hospital which I did. During the time of admission your hospital charged me a Rs, 7, 500 security deposit which I gave. I was told that since its a cashless hospitalization case, I will get back the money at the time when I discharge my mother.

The doctor Mr. Sudhir Pillai, who advised me to admit my mother at your hospital didn't even visit my mother once during her 30 hours stay at your 'esteemed hospital'. He didn't give any feedback at all. All Mr. Sudhir Pillai did was to recommend few medical tests and keep billing me and my family on those tests. At the time of discharge, he through his nurses recommended some medicines for my mother which has very high dose in it and which I wouldn't risk taking without even meeting the doctor once.

Since the doctor Mr. Sudhir Pillai didn't come and visit my mother once during her 30 hours stay at the hospital, I wanted to see another doctor to confirm if the medicines that Mr. Sudhir Pillai has prescribed is genuine or is he playing games with my mother's life. However, I was shocked when your hospital said that you wouldn't give me the medical reports of my mother. Are you guys serious? After staying at your hospital for 30 hours and going through all the pain to conduct those tests (and no whereabouts of your doctor Mr. Sudhir Pillai), I wouldn't get the medical reports of my own mother?

On requesting repeatedly for the reports, your hospital said that you need to send the reports to the insurance team that is Apollo Munich Health Insurance and I can't get the reports from you. When I inquired from the insurance company, they were shocked too and completely denied that they have directed the hospital not to give the patients her own reports.

So basically here I am after admitting my mother at your hospital for 30 hours:

                    1. Your doctor Mr. Sudhir Pillai who recommended that I should admit my mother in your hospital didn't even visit my mother once during her 30 hours stay at your hospital.

                    2. When I asked for the reports of all the tests that were done on my mother on recommendation of your doctor, Mr. Sudhir Pillai, the hospital simply refused to give me any reports at all.

                    3. Your hospital charged me Rs. 7, 500/- as security deposit and assured me that at the time of discharge the amount will be refunded post any deduction. The total bill incurred was Rs. 32, 695. The claim of Rs. 31, 900 was immediately passed by the insurance company and the hospital charged be the remaining balance Rs. 795/- which I paid. However, on asking the security deposit back from the hospital, I was told to come after 45 days and take it back. I am an out of town patient who came to your hospital all the way from West Bengal. Instead of paying me back my money, you guys expect me to keep asking for my money again and again from you?

I would like to bring to your notice that I am a well educated man who has been supremely influenced by the ethics of Hinduja Group and your founder Mr. Parmanand Deepchand Hinduja. I would appreciate if you stop working as a corporation in his name and instead of flinching hard earned money of middle class people, concentrate more on his legacy and his philosophy.

I was wrong to assume that your doctor, Mr. Sudhir Pillai is an ethical man who would give me proper guidance regarding my mother. All he wanted was to make money by asking me to admit my mother in your hospital. I don't want any further recommendations from him. However, I want all the medical reports of my mother for which she was asked to conduct those painful tests and also my Rs. 7, 500/- that you have taken as security deposit. You have got all the money that you have billed for and I do not want to keep calling you or coming to your hospital for my money.

I would appreciate if you would resolve my issue immediately or else I will be forced to take this matter on social medias, consumer complaint forums and relevant courts.

I would request you to not start making money on the name of the honorable man, Shri Parmanand Deepchand Hinduja.

Please feel free to call me on [protected] if you want any further discussion.

                    Thank you.

                    Regards,
                    For,

My 76yr old grandfather suffering from lung cancer was called for admission in the twin sharing category for which the bed was booked previously during the last chemotherapy and after coming he was told no bed is available in that category so we will shift you in a higher category room - which as per the norm would be
A private one and so we agreed and then he was bounced around the general ward, a cubicle lower category room and two other horrible rooms and the staff (Mr. Vishal in customer care) was absolutely unapologetic and blaming the patient and relatives! The head of admissions mr. Rodrigues says they can't look into all the patients ka complete details and assure proper service! So how are you different from a municipal or a third grade hospital?!!
Stroke patient made to wait for more than 2 hours despite taking appointment at OPD. First excuse given is no room is available for doctors to take history and then the doctor casually disappears and it’s been an hour she is not back !!!

Dr hegde’s team in the icu has two doctors named dr spandan and dr amit who have misbehaved with ladies and spoken in an ill mannered way
My mother is brain dead but that does not give anyone a reason to misbehave with the relatives and provide unethical behaviour in a private hospital and specially in the icu
We understand the frustration of the icu doctors cos of long working hours but it does reflect on dr hegde because he has taught his team to talk to relatives in that manner
It was a very unpleasant way of behaviour and foul language
I thought doctors are supposed to be calm and humble but they have turned out to b very rude unethical and there is no point of having such doctors in your hospital if they cannot calm the relatives
I wish the future patients and relatives don’t suffer because of this

Last week my father was admitted in hinduja hospital for right hand tennis elbow surgery. During that period i was observe following lack of safety practices in hinduja hospital premises.

                              1) no escape plan/route available on each floor in case of emergency situation like fire or explosion etc.
                              2) no speed limit for vehicles in hospital porche area
                              3) no safety officer appointed for morning shift
                              4) road connected to hospital main gate was completely crowded with parking vehicles & hence no free space is available on road for ambulance access.
                              4) please provide handrails for exit/emergency stairs to avoid stampede in case of emergency.

I hope that hinduja hospital management will take corrective action & make sure that hospital safety norms will follow in hospital premises.

My father kimtilal anand went to the seniormost pulmonologist in india dr. Ashok mahasur with his ct scan reports as he was complaining of persisting cough for past 6 to 9 months. Dr. Started giving him both nsip and ipf medicines in smaller dosages even without informing him that he could be getting into these life threatening diseases. He told him that this disease is progressive and on the other hand did not disclose the name of the disease neither did he vaccinate him (The first thing to be done when u even doubt th existence of nsip)... He kept telling my father that continue leading the active life and move around comfortably in public as his profession called for. When i and my father went for a normal appointment in last week of dec 2016... I asked doc what kind of disease my father has... Why is he coughing so much... What is the worst face that this disease can take... He asked me also to relax.. And said ur father is an active man... Why r u even asking these questions and worst come to worst he will move around with oxygen but that state i cant see for him in near or far future... Still he did not disclose the name of the disease... We were relaxed that if such a big dr. Is saying this... There must be true to this... Dr. Ashok mahasur screwed (Sorry for using such word but couldn't describe with any other word what he did to us) our lives... My father expired on 11th july... He caught severe infection in january 2017 (Just 15 days after we met dr.in dec where he told that he will never in near or far future go on oxygen)... His condition started deteriorating.. He was vaccinated in month of march 2017 by dr. Sudhir nair whom we visited because our primary doctor dr. Ashok mahasur was out of town... That is when reality struck us that is when we realised with the new ct scan and detailed investigation that my father is suffering from nsip... My father went on 24 hrs oxygen... Dr. Mahasur had no words to say when in our next meeting after he was back in mumbai... He showed the 2016 ct scan to his juniors and said that see fibrosing was there even then... Dammitt was he sleeping for one year... He did not care to inform the patients family that we r dealing with a deadly disease which could take his life too... God of pulmonologist doctors in india dr. Ashok mahasur... We repent the day we went to you for consultation... If we would have gone to dr. Sudhir nair, dr. Udwadaia, dr. Prabhudesai we would have given our father more number of years... You should give away your practice for i dont know how many inoncent people might lose their lives after consulting with you... Ur casual approach... U treated us as one of the cases... U need to repay for what my father went through... Wish u had vaccinated him... Wish u had kept us informed that this disease is nsip... Wish u had stopped us from taking him to. Colder places in north (We took ur permission that in january can we take him to delhi.. Ambala and u casually said sure he is an active man)... That active man came on 24hrs oxygen within 3 months in march 2017... That active man fought like a brave commander till the end still believing that he was being treated by the best dr.in india... We did not inform that active man that this my be the end of his life... He still respected u but u got to repent... U got to repay for this... Dont do this to any other patient in future...
same here - hinduja doctors ( especially in ICU ) killed my mother ... they dont know the cause of death - then for what disease they were doing treatment ???? we paid hefty amount for atleast 6 doctors visit every day !!! end of day the day no body know the reason of death !!
not a single doctor in hinduja ( specially in wards / ICU ) are serious about their work - they got the license to kill their patients and they do their job very well !!
i wish they will fall in our situation one day to realise the loss and situation !!

I would like to draw your attention towards sever negligence by staff nurse of hinduja hospital and the unethical behaviour of assistant doctor of dr. Jayant kothari. It is really sad after taking appointment of 04.15 pm for my sister who is so chronically ill, we had to wait for 3 hours. After asking several time for our appointment status the staff nurse were saying you have to wait. When i had seen their appointment list my number was 2nd. As i lost my patience and got angry on them, to my amaze the staff nurse reveled that my file had gone missing. After 3 hours they informed me this and when i confronted, the assistant doctor very mannerlesly and shamelesly asked us to show them our bag to check the missing file. Their behaviour was so inhumanly. What she thinks people come there for their entertainment and to wander?? What kind of people hinduja hired who can't take the responsibility of their work and credit their irresponsibility on patients and their relatives shoulders. We just moved out without consulting to doctor jayant kothari as they didn't allowed us to go in. The next day i called on the helpline number and was given the number of opd officer to sort out the matter, but after leaving my number for a call back i didn't get a call. This is the height of major negligence and irresponsibility ever expected from highly esteem institution like hinduja.
Even in ICU - the situation is worst - doctors on 24 hours on whatsapp / facebook - They killed my mother .
she visited walking in ICU and they made her situation so worst that she had to admit in ward and then icu and finally lost her - and doctors didn't know the cause of death- they changed the file whole night to take undertaking from us ... its height of major negligence and irresponsibility from the doctor side !!

It is really sad, even after taking appointment for opd, how the doctors make patients wait for 2 to 3 hours.

Hinduja hospital, should change their appointment system. They are very strict when giving appointments and always call and confirm if the patients are coming on time.
So, it is the hospitals responsibility to see if appointments are attended on time.
