Sir, Myself Mr. Vaibhav Gajbhiye, Consumer no. 623312, from Nagpur had booked a refill on 19th April, 2018 thru the IVR facility. I have not received a refill till date i.e. 27.04.2018. I got a message that my booking has been cancelled with booking no. 549364 on the same day and has asked me to re-book my refill. I have not cancelled my booking and does it take almost 9 days for the delivery of the refill. Also, the delivery boys ask for extra Rs. 20-30 as delivery charges. Are these people not paid for the same. They actually demand the money as if it is their right. I have so many times asked them to check the cylinder for leakage and weight. They straight away deny it. I have never seen them bringing a weighing scale for measuring the weight of the cylinder nor do they check it by putting water. When I was in Baroda, the delivery boys used to bring weighing scale and used to ask for water for checking the cylinder. The boys here are so arrogant that they don't listen only. As a consumer, I have the right if I feel that there is some discrepancy. My distributor's name is Domestic Gas & Appliances and the phone no is[protected] &[protected]. I want the distributor to ensure timely delivery of the refills and to take action against the boys who deny their duties and ask for extra money for bringing the refill to our doorstep. They are already paid for it. Rs. 20 or Rs. 30 do not make a huge difference. But it is not their right. Also, I want the distributor to ensure that the delivery boys check the cylinder without fail for everyone in terms of weight and leakages. And I would like an earliest action against them.
