I applied for a new DBC connection online (Ref: [protected] ) and visited the distributor office - SHANTHI AGENCIES[protected] at Bommasandra, Bangalore to submit documents. The manager forced to buy extra goodies - a trolley, apron, lighter, and stove. I have all these including the HP regulator and pipe. I showed the pic of my new stove with ISI seal and told me I have all these and I do not need them. He said it is compulsory to buy the extras - I agreed to buy just the regulator and pipe and refused to buy other items. He then refused to give a new connection if I don't buy the apron, lighter, and trolley or at least stove as he was directed by the company to sell all of them together.
Such pathetic customer service. Why do I'm being forced to buy such extra goodies? He's ready to let go of a new customer just for an apron, lighter, trolley. HE said they won't get much commission in just selling cylinders+regulators and he must sell these extra to get some profit. He can open another shop to sell them, why are they forcing the customers to buy these.
Please take appropriate action against the distributor and the manager for such behaviour, forcing customer to buy other goodies and refusing to give connection if we don’t buy the extras. Was this information helpful? |
