Hindustan Petroleum Corporation [HPCL] — hp gas cylinder connection (transfer gas)
Dear sir, I undersigned, is having double hp gas connections in my name (Ref. #unique consumer no. [protected]). Recently i have shifted from ratlam to bhopal, so while surrendering my gas cylinders and regulator in ratlam, the agency (I. E. Ratlam gas agency) raised a termination-cum-transfer voucher and refunded me rs. 1515/- against the due amount which was rs. 2200/- saying that rs. 435.00 has been deducted against subsidy (Impressed fund amount) and rs. 250/- deducted in the name of processing fees. When i asked about what amount will i have to deposit while regularising the connection in bhopal, the executive there informed that only - rs. 2200/- plus the charges of double cylinders i. E. Rs. 550/- each and nothing else, apart from that. So, after reaching bhopal, when i contacted the agency today namely - m/s. Nainika enterprise located at e-7, arera colony (Shop no.3, dhanwantari complex), the executive, there, calculated and asked me to deposit rs. 4075/- (Approx) against the said transferred hp-gas connection. One can still consider additional processing fees of rs. 340/-, but what about the balance amount? To which the executive at nainika enterprise replied that as per the rules of the third party insurance, it is mandatory to deposit the amount because that cost is against the gas-pipe, gas lighter etc. Which will be provided to you. I said i have gas lighter and gas-pipe in okay condition. To which he said that - you have to deposit the amount and can only get the amount refunded once the inspection team after their inspection finds the things okay and reports okay. How are these things justified? I am damn sure the inspection team will mention in their inspection report that the items like gas-pipe, lighter were not found in proper shape or condition, so as to push the sale of these items. How come the processing fees / charges vary from agency to agency. Isn't there any standard norms? Kindly comply. Regards, Kingshuk kar Was this information helpful?
