Dear Home Centre Customer Service Team,
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my furniture order placed on **14 May 2026**, for which I made **100% advance payment** at the time of purchase. The committed delivery date for the order was **2 June 2026**.
To my surprise, when I contacted your customer service team today to inquire about the delivery status, I was informed that the ordered furniture is currently **out of stock**. This raises a serious concern about the professionalism and efficiency of your order management process.
It is extremely disappointing that no proactive communication was made from your end regarding the stock unavailability or the resulting delay. Had I not called to check the status, I would have remained completely unaware of the situation. Customers should not be expected to follow up on orders that have already been fully paid for and for which delivery commitments have been provided.
What is even more concerning is that Home Centre has been holding my hard-earned money since the date of purchase while failing to honor the promised delivery timeline. This reflects poorly on customer service standards and customer commitment.
I request an immediate explanation regarding:
1. How an order was accepted and confirmed despite the item being unavailable.
2. Why I was not informed proactively about the stock issue and delivery delay.
3. The revised delivery date for my order.
4. The compensation or remedial action Home Centre intends to take for the inconvenience caused.
I expect a prompt response and a clear resolution to this matter at the earliest.
