My response to Consumer Service - Home centre
Dear Mr. Kumar,

First of all thank you for responding.
I think you are not updated with facts since you have mentioned that Felix Coffee Table Invoice No. [protected] Dated 13th Dec 2021 (INR 9060) was delivered on 20th Dec 2021 however, it was never delivered and let me put the facts before you since it not just a simple two liner standard response that i expect:
1. I and my wife visited HomeCenter International Pvt Ltd, Gurgaon and we liked a Felix Coffee Table but on condition that it must be made available to us on 17th Dec 2021. We were also asked if we can pick up from the same centre on 17th Dec 2021.
2. When i visited the Gurgaon Home Centre on 17th Dec, i was told that it will take few more days which was not acceptable to me and the staff there suggested me to cancel the order online by calling Helpline which they helped me to connect and i canceled the order then and there and asked to refund the money. I was told that the money will be refunded in 7 working days and that i will also receive a confirmation. I did not receive the confirmation.
3. At that point when i canceled the order, one of the senior staff of Home Centre (HC) requested me to give a days time and that the Coffee Table will be delivered along with a sofa set which i had also ordered on 18th Dec 2021. He also asked me that in case the coffee table is not delivered then i can again call the Home Centre Helpline to confirm cancellation and ask for refund.
4. The coffee table was not delivered on 18th Dec and i called the Helpline and once again they said it has been canceled and that the refund will be initiated which will take 7 working days.
5. No email or intimation for cancellation was received however i got sms on 20th Dec from HC that my order no. [protected] is out for delivery.
6. I once again call HC Helpline as to why i am getting message for delivery when i had canceled the order. I was told to refuse the delivery and then the process for refund to initiated. The Helpline Ms Prakriti also informed me that they can give credit note but i told them i am not interested in buying anything else and the money Rs 9060 should be refunded.
7. Let me also mention that the felix table was not delivered even after this sms. I would have anyways refused to take delivery. This is one of the most unprofessional example of serice to the customer.
7. Since then i have not received any communication rom HC regarding cancellation and refund of my money.

I hope i have explained you the whole issue in detail and since the order was not delivered on time as promised inspite of my visit to the centre, i had to cancel it and would request you to immediately refund the amount Rs 9060.
