We had bought an ashby's electric recliner chair and melange 3 door bookcase from home center only 8 months back. We had to shift home now, so the products needed to be disassembled. Upon calling the toll free, they said unless there is any complaint, they cant issue customer service. 'diassembly' was not considered a service request and it cant be done!!! Sorry. Bye". Upon calling the showroom, they said"we usually don't do this, i should do it or a local carpenter, otherwise let me see when a free time comes, we may consider. Bye...!!!"
Believing that home center had a professional vision of after sale service, i was heart break after this. Almost 1 lakh worth of products was bought (Persuasion to make us buy is laudable) and within 1 year time of purchase, we are being neglected. What more can happen to a customer when they are left alone, cheated and abandoned.
