Honda Cars India Ltd. — Honda City 2015 - SV-CVT Model - Mileage Issue | |||
I got a new Honda City SV-CVT Automatic 2015 Model (Reg no: DL3CCG1324) in March 2015 and I have been constantly complaining about the mileage that I am getting on the car. The advertised average on the car and as per sales rep Vijay at the Southend Honda in Saket, New Delhi I was told that car gives an average of 18 KM/PL but to my surprise the car has giving me the average of 6.5 to 7.5 KM/PL which is less than the 50% of the advertised average. My monthly fuel bills have risen up crazily and I have stopped driving the car because of the gas it guzzles. I am again driving my old car as the average of that car (10 Yr Old) is at least more than the new Honda City. My and wife dreams are shattered and we are very disturbed with this buy. I have repeatedly complaint to Honda 121 as well but though the complaints shows up in there system but no message or email has been received for the same. I was asked to take my car to the service center and even after that the average has improved by 0.5 KM/PL. My first servicing of the car is done and I was told the average will improve after that but nothing happened. I am genuinely not interested in this car anymore as I feel cheated and my hard earned money has bought myself into further misery. I would like to return this car and require FULL REFUND. Please take appropriate actions or let me know if it requires to get in touch with any higher ups in Honda or write a letter to the Japanese counterpart, I will be happy to do so. Thanks!
