I’m capt ravindra jaiswal, owner of honda civic 2007 (mh02ay2377). i’m based in mumbai and get my car regularly serviced at linkway honda sakinaka, andheri (e), mumbai. I’ve been extremely dissatisfied with the servicing done by the showroom since last two times. About a year back i sent my car for regular servicing. i was told later in the day that my air conditioning unit is faulty and not working properly. to which i replied that it had been working perfectly fine till the time i gave it for servicing. anyways, on their recommendation i got it repaired. About a fortnight back, i was asked by the dealer to give the car for airbag replacement as cars throughout the country were being recalled. my car was in perfect condition before giving it to them.in fact i asked mr abhijit (ph [protected]) to change my boot light as well as fuel tank lid cable additionally as they were not working. the driver dropped the car at my residence next day. when i tested the car later in the day to my surprise i found the airbag light was illuminated! also the other two jobs i had told mr abhijit (fuel lid cable and boot light) wasn’t replaced. i called mr abhijit and told hi about the same. he got my car packed up again to look into the matter. mr abhijit called me the next day then saying the air-conditioning leakage has led to short circuit of my entire right side of airbag circuit!! i was shocked to hear this as my car was running absolutely fine all this while before i gave the car for airbag recall. on telling him this, he told me the total cost will be rs 30, 000/- and he can’t do anything. i was furious as my car was totally fine before giving. anyways i asked him, to just send my car back to me as i didn’t trust him (linkway sakinaka) with the car anymore. additionally, he also said that the other two jobs i had told him couldn’t be done. this is after he kept my car for 2 days (fyi the promised time was within a day both the times)! When i got my car back, i realised even my air-conditioning wasn’t cooling at all! i immediately called him back and told the same, to which he had no response other than that the defect is there and he can’t do anything. i told him to make me speak to the manager to which he said he will arrange a call back. after several reminders on almost a daily basis to him, i still haven’t received a call from anyone in higher management who would hear my grief. I’ve lost all hope in honda after this episode and have almost reached a stage of never buying a honda product ever and recommending the same to others. Kindly look in the matter at the earliest and take some action against this fraudulent guy and get my car repaired at the earliest! Awaiting a quick response.
