Honda Cars India Ltd. — I am complaining about my, car service in tvs sundaram motors chennai

1. We brought honda city vx (O) model car from tvs sundaram motors and took delivery of the car on 15.05.2016.
2. After thinking of buying so many cars like, renault duster, mahindra xuv, toyota… etc. Etc. We settled for honda city, simply because everyone in my family loved the car, especially my 7 year old son. To make the occasion memorable, we took the delivery of our car on my 8th marriage anniversary day.
3. After considering so many dealers like mansarovar, capital honda etc., we settled for tvs sundaram motors because it is one of the oldest and renowned dealers in chennai city, who provide a good sales and after sales service.
4. I personally went and gave my car for first free service on 26/05/2016 (Thursday) at 8:45am to the service department of tvs sundaram motors, after fixing an appointment on 25/05/2016 (Wednesday). I was made to wait for more than 2 hrs for taking my vehicles for service and that too happened after putting lot of pressure & fight.
I was informed to take the delivery of my vehicle on 27/05/2016 (Friday) before 5:30pm and i informed them later that i would not be able to take it on 27/05/2016 due to other official priorities. When i went today -28.05.2016 (Saturday)- to take delivery of my car at 03.55 pm, they made me to wait for almost 2 hours and after me approaching the service desk at 06.00 pm, i was directed to the service manager, mr. G. Sivashankar who informed me that the car key is lost, and asked me to bring the duplicate key and take the car. The managers behaviour was so irresponsible and the attitude so casual, which is not at all acceptable.
5. With a very casual attitude, he smiled and told that the key is lost, and that he is responsible for finding/replacing the key, and said he will be able to find only on monday that is on[protected], where the key is or how it was misplaced. If still they are not able to locate the key they will be getting a new key after 10 days. I would never want the key to be replaced, as i doubt this might have been taken by someone with some intention, but instead i would request the whole key system to be replaced to fix the issue & clear my doubt in taking the delivery of my vehicle.
6. The problem here is not the loss of key, but that they could have informed me well in advance that the key is lost. The car was scheduled for delivery in the morning itself. They could have called and told me that something like this has happened. Fine, they didn’t inform, but atleast after my arrival, they could have told immediately, but they made me wait for 2 hours, and when it was time for them to go home, they told me of the issue. One more person from the service department shri. Shanmugam also behaved with a very casual attitude.
7. I have owned hyundai, maruti, chevrolet model cars. I have never had such a bad experience and service.
8. I am totally irked, unhappy and disappointed at the service i have got from them. I have lost my total peace of mind. This has caused total mental agony for me and my family.
9. I will not be taking delivery of the car with the duplicate key and i still feel the above option of replacing the whole key system would not provide me with the same satisfaction i had during the delivery. I need an explanation for all these things and also kindly arrange for the refund of the total money paid by us along with the insurance amount and the interest cost & processing fees of the bank immediately along with additional compensation for the treatment & mental agony caused/ provided by the dealer today. Please try make the arrangement of the same as soon as possible, as iam totally fed up with the way the honda dealers behaved with me today and also lost trust with them. I still don’t have the confidence in continuing with honda and getting my vehicle serviced further. Please do let me free from all these tension, by returning back the paid amount as early as possible.
10. I would never like to continue with tvs sundaram honda motors as well as with honda cars (Who should have looked after the dealer’s behaviour towards customer) where my experience was very bad. I was under the pride of owning a honda car and all such experience has now made me to change my mind & to further go with a dealer & vehicle which can provide me with a good service and experience.
