Honda Cars India Ltd. — Unfair increase in price | |||
I booked my car on Feb 18. Three days ago on March 2nd they ask me to pay 40k more for the same car or they'll cancel my order. They said in the budget, car prices have gone up. Not only is the budget is applicable from April first but also the car was booked well before the announcement. I want to let Honda's management know this is hugely unfair and that they better do something about it. Was this information helpful? | |||

Same thing happened with me, even i am ready to pay full amount before 1st April 2016 still showroom folks ask me to make 40k more in original quotation. Also customer care for honda is not responding over an email or call centre numbers. Will it be feasible to go for consumer court with immediate effect and ban Honda to sell their cars in India ? Why its not happening in India if it can happen in other countries ? If 100 customer make 40k per head payment then it will do directly to honda profit before applying the same from government as i am sure it is not going to Indian Government before 1st April manufacturing ? Even other auto-mobile industry has announced price hike from 1st April 2016. Then how can honda increase prices before 1st April 2016?
