Honda City — Steering lock malfunctioning

I bought honda city i VTec in May, 2010, Now ite steering lock getting struck. Some times not able to open steering lock and start car. Now company has informed that all locks needs to be changed and it wil cost me Rs. 12K. Since Warranty expired in May, 2014, My request is that it should be done by company on FOC basis.As this is static part and should not fail in four years period. Nitin, M : [protected]
