HTC — Company is asking money for replacing camera for known faulty world wide Issues with HTC One M7 Camera

Address:New Delhi, Delhi

I have an HTC ONE M7 device which has the known issue of red tint in back camera. It is a world wide issue with this model and they are not ready to own the fault. Giving money for something which was already broken in the handset doesn't make sense to me. I registered a complaint in HTC with ticket number 15IND[protected] and I was told that they raise a request in backend. But they never come back with the status. I got an Email from them saying that I would need to pay GWS charges but nothing was mentioned about who will be bearing the cost of camera replacement. Customer support repeats the same thing again and again without hearing of what you want them to answer. I have been intentionally disconnected by 2 executives today, even when my language was not absurd. HTC and their representatives are behaving as if I made the camera to click reddish pictures. I m tired of chasing HTC to expect at least an average customer experience but its a big let down.
