Hi Team,
I had purchsed an HTC smartphone model HTC One E8 (Color - Grey, Matt Finish), on 24th Nov, 2014. After 4 months i started facing issues. My phone is under warranty period of 1 year.
Issue 1 - Yellowish Display
Issue 2 - Matt Peel of from the back panel.
I registered the issue on HTC customer service centre on 7th April, 2015 and requested them to arrange a stand by device so that i can submit my phone at the TVS Service Centre and had also requested them to take the Issue 2 under warranty and replace the same. They accepted my request on all the issue and asked me to submit my phone at the TVS Service Centre, Kurla, Mumbai.
I later on submitted my phone at the service centre on 15th April, 2015 and collected a standby device. They requested me to wait for 15 days and they collect the phone from the service centre. After 15 days of the submission i contacted the HTC Customer Service Toll Free number to check on the status to which they replied that it is still under process and asked me to call back in next 48 hours. I again called back post 48 hours and the status remains the same. I again called back post another 48 hours and i was shocked with a new status from the customer support executive that HOD in Bangalore has still not delivered the parts to TVS Service Centre which is in Kurla. I escalated this issue again on their email support and customer service toll free number. It's been nearly a month now and i still dont have any updated on my device which i submitted on 15th April, 2015.
Wonder if the TVS Service Centre is an authorised HTC service provider or is it just for the name sake.
