HTC — Pathetic service from htc service center

Hi I am Mandeep Bajaj,

My HTC 616 was getting hanged quite often which was creating hassles for me so I decided to get it repaired from authorized service center and since I bought my phone from CROMA so I thought of getting it repaired through them as due to my work schedule I could not go to HTC service center.

On March 8th when I was in office my phone got hanged again due to which I missed few important calls so I decided to send it for repair, When I gave my phone at Croma it was starting but not reaching home screen which normally takes some time due to hanging issue but the power was on(You can confirm it from the croma representative who took it from me) and I also mentioned him that it would probably only required a software update as we faced similar issue with our Samsung phone.

After couple of days when I got a call from Croma for the status of my phone, I was shocked to know that motherboard is faulty of the phone and I will have to pay 7000/- to get it repaired which I refused to pay so I asked them to give my phone back.

When I got my phone back it has scratches on screen, dent on couple of areas & a crack too and the phone is not getting on, when I tried to charge the phone it was not getting charged too.
I looked at the job sheet of HTC service center it is mentioned “No power/cannot boot” which is totally wrong as power was getting on earlier.

Also, when I submitted my phone it has no scratches, dent or crack as mentioned in HTC job sheet, in fact it also had a screen guard which was removed in HTC service center.

Although my phone was 1.5 years old but i maintain my phone very well and it was like brand new phones without any scratches or dents that is the reason I wanted to give it to an authorized service center instead of local repair center.

I registered my complaint on HTC customer service and my case was forwarded to escalation team but it has been more than a week and I haven't heard anything from them when I was told that it will take 48hrs for me to get the revert from them.

I specifically told the escalation team that I need a quick resolution as without smartphone my work gets hampered as I have to be available all the time on email and official chat.
