HTC — Performance issues

I recenltly bought an HTC one M8 after a lot of surveys and likes.Its just 8 months and its under warranty. The screen has started troubling me since last week. I am a chairperson of an organization and my work gets hampered because of it. I desired for a speedy action or repair from the service center that is max a day or two. Unfortunately it seems the service center needs a fortnight to rectify the issue.
