HTC — Poor performance of htc e9s cell phone

I bought HTC e9s cell phone on 25 Dec 2015. The phone gives very poor performance and hangs automatic ally. Also I found it difficult to register on winter carnival contest. Till now no intimation has been received with respect to result of contest.
