Subject: Encroachment of land of HUDA in Sector-13 behind Plot No.71 to 83.
Your personal attention is invited towards the various letters written by the association for taking suitable action for extra HUDA land behind the plot No.71 to 83. It is regretted to point out that inspite of repeated requests and meeting with the HUDA authorities no action has been taken in this regard. During meeting with your predecessor it was decided that since the land cannot be utilized by HUDA for any other propose this extra land behind these plots be properly measured and be allotted to these plot holders at the prevalent HUDA rates. This proposal was also in the best interest of HUDA because HUDA would have earned lacs of rupees and its encroachment would have been avoided. A copy of the minutes of the meeting are enclosed for reference please. During the meeting it was decided that this exercise will be completed by the Estate Office within two months but inspite of lapse of more than two year no action seems to have been taken so far.
The result of non-action on the part of Estate Office have resulted into encroachment behind plot No.71 and have filed a civil suit putting into unnecessary litigation which was totally avoidable. The report regarding this encroachment was also made your office in writing as well as per person by the association but no action was taken by your office, which shows that Estate Office staff have connived with the encroacher. Now that encroacher is tying buffalos in Plot No.71 creating nuisance for the residents. Inspite of report to your office no action has been taken in this regard also.
Now, during the last week similar effort has been made behind plot No. 75 by resident of Janta colony by opening a door towards HUDA plot for which you are requested to take immediate action against him.
Hence, it is again requested for the sake of hygienic living conditions of the residents, to avoid encroachment of HUDA land, for the financial benefit of HUDA this extra land be got measured immediately and be allotted to these plot holders to avoid its encroachment and financial loss to HUDA and unnecessary litigations.
