Hush Puppies — Wrong Product Has been returned but No refund generated, Store Executive Asks me to buy some Store product instead

Hello,

I purchased two shoes at the Hushpuppies store on 25th December 2021. I have enclosed the Invoice for product details, regarding the second product, size 8. I purchased them at a discount, I bought the shoe for 1999 INR. Later I found out that the shoe that was packed was size 9 and not size 8 which I have purchased.

I took to the store and a Store Executive named Ramu has apologized for the mistake and accepted the product return on that day, ensuring that the size 8 shoe will be available the following week as it was not available at that time. He has written an acknowledgment on the Invoice and has asked me to come the following week to show it and that I will be given the size 8 shoe that I have purchased. However that day never came, He said the shoe is not available and has asked to buy a new pair, but the discount was now not available and all shoes were priced at 4000INR +. I requested Mr. Ramu that I cannot accept this offer as it was the store's mistake to pack the wrong item rather than what was billed, and that teh customer shouldnt be the one to adjust but rather the store. However he kept saying that I'll try to get the shoe and has asked me to check other branches of the store to see if I like any other shoe and that He will compensate that 1999INR in the other store branch, however I refused this offer again, because it is only giving me more stress and to go around looking for shoes at different locations, jsut because they billed for a shoe that is size 8(desired) and while packing, packed the shoe which has the size 9.

For many months I kept asking him to find a way to settle this issue, but He only kept me in waiting to offer me to only buy something in the store, I still refused because I do not want to spend more on a new shoe for a show that I have already paid, It's only a double burden on me. I have requested Mr. Ramu multiple times and have also insisted that if I do not get a satisfactory response that I would file a consumer complaint, however since then Mr. Ramu has stopped replying to my texts and never answered my calls.

In the last attempt, I had to plead with the Consumer Complaints Forum and Team to please look into this and give a fair solution.

I have enclosed the Whatsapp chat file and also the invoice details and the written acknowledgment that Mr. Ramu has written. The Physical Invoice is now faded, but the pictures from that day are with me and I'm sure Hushpuppies databases would also have them.
